| Hi Folk, i am starting a Middenheimer WB and would like some background info, the only stuff i have been able to get is of Wikipedia. I have not played WFB since 2nd edit many years ago and in those days i wasnt big on background i can seldom afford books and so feel a little in the dark. The idea i have in mind is a young Lord, perhaps 2nd or 3rd son leading a band of men in search of fame and fortune. Would this fit in with Middenheimers ???? Any info you could supply would be greatly appreciated Cian Shieldbiter | |

| Remember Middenheim is a big place. You have the whole of Middenland to draw from. Surely the Middenheimers in Mordheim generally hail from the city itself, but the Elector Count rules the whole province. Draw from where you will. My Middenheimers (soon to be posted to this forum) have some Blue and white but a fair bit of Red on them too. Why? Cause I like how it looks. There is some red in the flag... good enough.
Any bit of fluff you want to use as the basis and start of your ideas will work. Just be hairy and mean and rough lookin. Thems Middenheimers.

Middenheim and Middenland are sometimes considered to be separate entities, and sometimes not, depending on the fluff. Of course, at the time Mordheim is set, Middenheim is home to an actual emperor. Well, one of the three or four emperors anyway... They don't all look like angry vikings in Middenheim either.

| Thanks for all the replys folk, my background knowledge of the warhammer world is scant to say the least. I have the idea of rough mountain men armed with hammers and powder weapons with a priest of Ulric replacing one champion. What do ya reckon ???? Cian Shieldbiter | |

| good idea. Blue and white are big colors. You also see a little red, yellow and grey in them. Wolfcloaks add alot. While not very good in the game are interesting to look at.
Don't have to use powder if you don't want to. Bows and crossbows are common enough to use. I've always though that we'd see a good bit of axes out of Middenheimers, course, axes are fairly useless in the game. I still take a few because of models and for interest. Do what you like and you think looks good. That will make you happy and that's really what is important.
