GTT! Gone to Texas! Its what folks used to say when they passed an empty farm in the 1830s through 50s and then again after the Civil War. For those in the Midwest its still a big destination at least judging by Indianapolis. Glad your move was filled with good adventures and that you have settled in a bit. | Thanks for all the kind thoughts.  Exploring my new environs could be an adventure in itself. So far I've found that the "everything is bigger in Texas" thingy means "everything is further away"; AND the deer as in the "deer & the antelope play" are rather twinky; they DO, however roam all over the neighborhood in substantial numbers. They don't seem to play much...mostly they eat & poop. I haven't seen any antelope....they're probably ashamed to be seen with the deer. | |
