| What kind of glue do you use for Styrofoam? I know that pl400 and such work well, though it dries quite slow. | |

| You are a wild and crazy guy Deaf! Crazy Glue on sealed foamboard! You're livin' on the edge there. I use Elmer's white glue, Flexbond, Tacky Glue, or Liquid Nails for Foamboard. Elmer's, Flexbond and Tacky Glue qualify as PVA adhesives I believe. Liquid Nails is a construction adhesive similar to the PL series. Spray adhesives like Super 77 also work but I would test a scrap of foam before spraying a project. Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area... | |

| I'm using PVA-Glue (Uhu Holz Lösemittelfrei) Easy to use, cheap and the resulting bond is really sturdy. | |

| White glue is indeed the easiest way of glueing styrofoam. It's practically non-toxic and very handy plus it's cheap and easy to find in almost any hobby related store. White glue forever | |

| Yeah, I'm not dealing spray, since I'm working in my flat. I'll try to find that famous White Glue then, wonder what the name it here in Sweden (?). | |

| It would be "Trälim", and can be found pretty much everywhere. Since you live in Götet, swing by Biltema they sell them cheap. | |

| Liquid nails is very useful although a little expensive.
Try going to a hobby house (your mom or wife kind, not our kind), and ask for liquid silicone.
A 250mm costs less tan USD$2.00 and it serves you just as a hot glue gun, but without the heat!
That's my choice.
White (or wood) glue is fine too, but takes longer to dry, and in large surfaces, it may well NEVER really dry in the middle of 2 styrofoam layers.
Hope that helps. | |

| Ok, well I was aware that it (trälim/white glue) works well, dries slowly though. I guess I can't get all! ^_^
Great, Biltema seems to be in my hood even ^_^

| While you're there, be sure to pick up the 10kg bag of wodden strips! It is great to build stuff with or add details! Adn 10kg's really last quite some time |

Maybe this is why Deaf is so 'happy' all the time... the fumes! I used PVA Glue, but now I use Gorilla Glue... super strong stuff!

Well, it is harder than balsa wood, not the easiest thing to work with, but it is very sturdy as well And as I said, you get 10 kilos so you can afford to mess up |

| I use wood glue. Mainly because I use lots of cardboard with balsa and it actually dries quite fast for that. With foam I use hotglue mostly. I get cheap sticks of the stuff at the local .99 store. | |

| i'm with Mordheimer on Gorilla Glue, that stuff rocks!! I use wood glue (as it's something I always have around the house) for some things but Gorilla Glue is my main glue for all my projects. | |

struggling to get it together! Be sure to by the "low melt" glue sticks. The regular kind will melt the foam.

Theo I use wood glue too. When gluing layers of foam together I I weight the pile down for a strong bind. It also squeezes the excess out. While seems to let it dry faster, but you still have to wait overnight for large bonds.
