| Okay, in my version of Mordheim, there is an inn called The Green Man Inn. It was known to be patroned by some of the more wealthy citizens and travellers. Well low and behold, the truth of the matter was that the Green Man Inn catered to the seedier and darker side of its clients. All manner of vices could be found in the various rooms and lower levels...for a price. Well when the twin tailed comet hit, rumor has it that it fused the debauched patrons into the walls themselves, thus forever haunting the remains of the inn. Okay, I have been modelling a few zombie faces into the walls, question is, should I paint them green so they blend in with the walls, or shoud I go all fleshy colored where the walls seem to turn to flesh? I see pros and cons to each side, but any suggestions would greatly help! | |

| ..........um......wow. I...uh...sniff..........never mind. I think I'll just quit playing Mordheim altogether now. My crap work can in no way even hold a candle a million light years away to work like that guys. | |

| Uhhh... I vote to have the picture banned from TBMF. How I'm supposed to do ANYTHING with that image on my mind? I mean... no matter what I could dream to do, I know it won't be anywhere near as SUPER COOL as that wall! WOW!!!
Thanks for poisoning my mind and showing me that I'm nothing but dust! That is amazing!

| VERY NICE WORK! I also do faces coming out of walls...it's SO Mordheim. A Ghostly glow looks the best; it definitely should not blend with the wall color. I LOVE it JUST the way you've posted it. | |

I think a compromise is in order - green shading subtly to flesh. You don't want them to blend in, so the same color as the wall is out. But you want them to look as if they are part of the walls now, so a clearly distinct flesh would be overkill (ahem). But a subtle enough variation would draw the eye and be pretty creepy. The picture Fungomungus provided of Busted Brush's work is awesome - but I don't think it is the effect you want. It seems to show spirits, distinct from the walls (barricades?) who were using them for cover or something; they don't strike me as something integral to the walls.

| I have decided to do a little of both ya'll. God, I said "ya'll"....I really have to get out of Tennessee. Anyway, I'm doing the fleshy look, which is overkill Buuuut I'm also adding a watered down green wash to them. There are a few buildingings I'm adding faces to that will blend into the stonework, as I want it to seem they are moving underneath the stone. I hope to use both effects well. Now in all honesty, my workmanship is going to be craptacular, but I'll post some pics when I'm done. I have a very bad track record for having my projects last through the manufacturing process (dog, nephew throwing a temper tantrum, clumsy me, etc). I just hope you folks find it TBMF worthy. | |

| Now you are making me all homesick (I'm a Middle Tennessee guy originally).
I'd love to see pictures of your work as you progress.
