Thanks everyone for the positive comments. I am still not 100% satisfied with the photo quality, but I can accept that.

It's funny. I just noticed that the Mountainguard wearing the hat and armed with a two-handed sword has no eyebrows. How did I miss that?

Like I mentioned before, some of my highlights are kind of harsh, but when seen from a distance (i.e. on the table) they look pretty good.


While I eagerly await my beloved Blood Angels in April, I am not certain what to paint next. I have two more Mountainguard (2H sword & crossbow) and another Halfling ready to paint (model on left).




I also have a number of really fun hired swords that I have been eager to put the brush to.

Then again, I just got my hands on some sweet OOP Necromunda Redemptionist models that I am eager to tackle. Decisions-decisions.

I just have to say that these averlanders are plain awesome! The use of colors and the colorscheme is outstanding. The yellow is really attention-drawing but not over the top.

In the spirit of the game, you gave the ranger a different color, to indicate the fact that he is hired, and may I say that that particular model is simply fantastic! The use of gray never appealed to me, but seeing what you can do with it makes me wonder!

I would go for the redemptionists as a next project, quickly thereafter returning to provide us with more mordheim goodness. After all .... this is tom's boring mordheim forum

In short: Job extremely well done, have to buy new keyboard as drool makes keys sticky!

That's a great collection you have there. Congrats on the Merchant and WItch models - they are superb and I know you will do them justice. I can't wait to see them!

That's really too bad because, I can't get the Elf or the Halfling to pose for new pictures without Sarge's say so. They are his subordinates, after all. Oh well.

i see well maybe the sargeant can (ab)use his powers in the chain of command land himself a front row seat in the gallery but of course this dis- or inclusion would be dependent on his ability to assert himself and make sure the men take orders...

Games Workshop. It is a very rare, OOP Mordheim model. It took me ages and lots of horsetrading to finally get my hands on it.

Superb painting Koyote, very inspirational. Really looking forward to seeing some of those old metal figures painted up.

great conversion. now that you've completed the project, may i have the audacity to point out that such a warband setup (halberds, great weapons) would be CREAMED under the official rules? ... on the other hand, they'd do quite nicely under the coreheim rules. really.

I already been addressed this subject in 2 posts on page 1 of this thread.


Hmm? Still no sergeant in the Asp gallery...

asp would love to add the sargeant but as of yet, he has not proved his ability to make the men take orders cant have such a sargeant running about


just read your posts. sounds to me like dual wielding is still far too good under your rules
