Absolutely superb warband. Especially like the character of Black Gobbo, Dark Knight, and Don Quixote. I agree with some of the other posters that if you could get some better pictures, we'd love to see them. Especially a well-lit group shot with a terrain backdrop would really do the warband justice.

As far as future warbands, I could not (respectfully!) disagree more with DeafNala. Painting up an WHFB army of lizards may get repetitive, but as far as warbands go, the new plastic lizzies allow for a great deal of character with just a minor bit of tinkering. Sadly, I began a Mordheim hiatus right after I purchased them and don't know when mine will get finished, but I'd love to see what your brush could do to such a group!

@Identity: I KNEW I was going to get in trouble with that comment, but it seemed like a good way to get an opposing view...& I've been wrong before...quite often in fact. The Lizard Lads DO look GREAT when they're all painted up; it's just getting the motivation going when my thing is doing expressive faces.

Very good looking goblins. I look forward to your feedback on the warband list I'm working on. I encourage the use of styro's hired swords as well.

You keep mentioning Gnoblars. I'm working on an Ogre warband right now. The forum-approved Border Town Burning warband list only includes 'Claimed' Gnoblars which marry up with your Hero choices (excluding the Mountain Guide). However, Gnoblar Fighters were included in the special equipment section, so that Chaos Dwarf or Ogre warbands could be supplemented by them in campaigns. In a nutshell these fighting hill-goblins are recruited in the same fashion as war dogs for any players who become obsessed with them, like you Dazza.

I've opted to include Claimed Gnob's on all my 5x Ogre Heroes because they are so characterful. I chose to represent the Gnoblar Fighters with Halfling models. There are also a couple of Halfling hired swords up for grabs; a thief and a scout. You could easily represent these roles with Gnoblars if you wanted.

On top of all that, I've pencilled in an idea for a 3rd Halfling hired sword for BTB II*. The hireling will play a mercantile role in campaigns. The merchant class in Gnoblar society is 'Scrap-dealer'.
