| So, I've been especially efficient as of late, not only finishing my Possessed Warband, but also my Tileans and, now, my Undead as well. Here they are... 1. My Vampire and the Necromancer: The Vampire is the standard Mordheim vampire mini, with his Halberd switched for the sabre from the Empire Militia sprue. Also, the armoured glove will allow me to take Heavy Armour for my Vamp at somee stage. The Necromancer, though, is quite heavily converted. The body is from a brettonian Archer pack, with Greenstuff used to elongate the tunic, a bandolier around his chest, and a hood. On the bandolier there are bones form the Ghoul pack. The staff is a mix of Zombie and skeleton pack. The arm holding the staff is from the Khemri Liche model, and the sword arm is from the Empire Soldier pack. 2. Dreggs: These dreggs are all based ont he LotR minis form the Corsairs pack. The crouching one with two handed axe has become a classic hunchback with a tattered corpse with parchment on his back (from a Possessed Magister staff). All cloaks are greenstuffed. The hunchback also has a scewered face, and misses a nose, adding to the feel. The one with the spear has a bandaged face with bloody slabs, made from Greenstuff, of course. The third one has the gong from the Zombie sprue and a skeleton mace fromt eh Skeleton Sprue. I also filed his hair away, creating a nice looking (...) balding! 3. Ghouls: These are just the normal ghouls from the Crypt Ghoul pack. I wanted them to look more like the old models, so I painted them in pale skin colours instead of the rotting scheme originally intended. 4. Zombies: Yay! Need no further presentation! Notice the nail-polish on the torn of leg, though being the comedic relief of the warband, i find little silly things like that really gives the warband character. I will get my Dire Wolves today, I hope. And with them, the warband will be complete |

| PRETTY DARNED COOL STUFF! Nice paint jobs on all the Lads. I LOVE what you did with the Necromancer AND, of course, the Zombies are GREAT...their plastic Zombies are one of those things that keep me from TOTALLY hating GW. VERY WELL DONE! | |

Thx a lot. And I just, like a minute ago, opened my pack of Dire Wolves that just arrived by mail! Soon my rotting puppies will prowl the streets with the rest of the warband. |

| There! The Dire Wolves, three of them, are complete! Took me two hours! To my amazement, they were very easy to paint, but then so are all undead. I will put up pics later, and also a group shot of the whole warband! |

| Thx! I also noticed that the basing I use, some fabricared hobby basing I bought in a hobby store, makes a nice look that looks a mix between brown dirt and autumn leaves. Autumn leaves and undead makes my heart tick, and I just feel some poetic meaning lies just beyond my reach. A beautiful tragic image, sort of... ... or maybe its just that time of the month.... ...and I AM a dude... |

Thank you. I needed to find some use for my corsairs as I have about 15 of them with no use |

| it's horrible, heartwrenching and any other word synonumous with pain and destruction. you must know how it is, you stare at the tins of paint for like a month, then start painting, get into the flow of it and all of a sudden at 9.21pm realize your out of red and all your GW metallics are dry so you go a little crazy then starts using your oils and then there's 200 zombies on your desk, 50 all over the kitchen and you can't find the livingroom because of all the sprues. | |

| Mo: Thanks a lot mate! MonkeyShaman: AND, as the best light for painting is daylight (i prefer it over lamps any day), one must speed paint on day hours. And, as we dont get a lot of that nowadays, its about four hours when the light is good enough to paint in... |

| Thanks man! They are, as of now, that my Dire Wolves are done too, my favourite warband of the bunch. That reminds me, Fire WOlf pics coming up today and a group shot, then they are all done |

| Here they are! Three Dire Wolves... And then a group shot of the whole warband. The number of warriors is over the limit, but I always keep extra models to use if I want to change the strategy. Done, and Done! (I will only touch up the bases a bit, with some paintjob and some minor tweaks, but the models themselves are done...) |

| You should paint mine, one dreg and the necro notwithstanding (as I'm entirely unable to find them) I have almost painted two. almost. | |

| Well, i'd love to see your work, though! Especially Dreggs and Necromancers are interesting, as the GW models are both boring and incomplete (Only 2 Dreg models available to my knowledge, and the Necromancer looks a little too generic. Cool, but generic). |

| I must admit I've never bought a dreg in all my years of playing Mordheim. As the blisters always sold out and the boxed set always took a backseat to other stuff (rhinos mostly as that's my other main GW addiction ) | |

I know, that is really weird. Then again, all Mordheim related boxes are incomplete. I have only EVER got my hands on one Possessed model, and there is only one type of Darksoul to my knowledge. Also, it is hell trying to find warhounds! There is one for the witch hunters (maybe two) but they are extremly expensive. No wonder ppl go to other miniature ranges or make their own models |

| I think it might be to motivate you to feel a personal connection to your warband of at least one darksoul and or dreg is scratchbuilt and a non hunchback | |

to your warband of at least one darksoul and or dreg is scratchbuilt and a non hunchback ... or GW is just a bunch of cheap capitalists that wont create expensive and individually looking metal models for such a lowly thing as a Specialist Game |
