whats the best way to keep track for doing a battle report

I just write down the major events of the battle, and the outcome, then I write a good story instead of a report, which can be quite boring to read on a monitor.

Take lots of photos as well - it's amazing how much you remember when looking at the later.

Heres an example. It is a story reflecting the real battle report, with a small conclusion after each story, and with added pics further down. Unfortunately, i had no pics of the otehr warbands...
