Wouldn't it end up being sort of useless unless you're making the city exactly as it appears in the map? Even so, the city'll be sort of... on the table, won't it?

The city is MASSIVE. You play in one small section of it each time you play a game. The table isn't supposed to represent the whole city.

Plus the streets and buildings of Mordheim have a way of, sort of, re-arranging themselves due to the chaotic influence of the pit and the shadow lord.
