Hey gang here are my newly completed orcs and goblins faction. This is the first time I have had a faction ready at the start of a campaign. I am not much of a painter but my friends on the site are or so if you want check out their stuff as well. As it turns out having your warband painted does not necessarily mean it will perform well, I lost my first two matches, one of them because of an angry mob. Oh well, next meet.

CONGATULATIONS; having the Lads all painted up for the start of a campaign is a BIG plus. While there are a couple of things that might be improved upon, the War Band as a whole looks REALLY good. The Goblins, in particular, ARE very nicely done. Having some Guys in your group that paint to a somewhat higher level should give you ideas for technique that will see your skills improving.
Thanks for the post. WELL DONE! New campaign Os and Gs 665330

Very Happy nice! pictures!

I love the squig with the mohawk! (is that a conversion? looks awesome anyway Very Happy)

I find that you painted your squigs very good! lots of character.

The orcs are great to as such, awesome poses and bases Very Happy I think you made the bases yourself? great job Very Happy

but my true favourite: The CHAMELEON SQUIG

thats superbly brilliant and WHAT a paintjob ^^ that a regular model?

If you want a hint for the orcs, you could wash them with "Devlan Mud" wash. works wonders on picking out the details! (my 1:72 orcs are all washed)

Keep up the good work and thanks for posting!!!

cheers

Thanks for the advice guys. I will have to pick up the devlan mud for touch ups and when I make additions to the warband. The mohawk squig is the old squig hound from warhammer quest. And yeah whenever I am working on terrain or painting it is good having friends around who know art and design.
