New houses

Very, very nice buildings. I agree with DeafNala - they're lovely to look at, but are still built with the game in mind. That's a very tough balancing act, but you do it really well. Great stuff!

Here is my latest work (W.I.P). This used to be very famous bar in north of the Mordheim city known as "the green inn". They served famous XXX Bugham dwars beer and ale, also it was good place hire mercenaries like warlocks and thiefs.

As a man from the north I must know how to work with wood, even if it is a balsawood Tiles in the floor are 2 cm wide and made from cardboard. I was thinking to add more ruble to the floor and also a rammed door. It's a good thing if this ruin gave you Ezekiel some inspiration.

I have to finish this one by tomorrow because Mr. Drakbar is coming to visit.

VERY NICE! I LOVE your staircase; EXCELLENT piece of modeling! The boarded up window is something I hadn't thought of doing...up until now, that is. As always your woodwork IS exceptional. Keep up the WONDERFUL WORK!

Balsa wood always looks so good!

I like the stairs, must have taken you a fair whack of time to make them. So much better than the regular old ladders propped inside. You'd think half of Mordheim never had staircases. Your good at adding quirky little architectural detail and it really gives your pieces some character. Impressive stuff!

Tiles in the floor are 2 cm wide and made from cardboard. You can paint first the cardboard and then cut it in to tiles. Finishing touch is made by drybrushing. The rest in general is painted by painting the base layer by mixing the colour with black and then gradually adding lighter shades and brightening it up.

The stairs took some time but i'm happy with the result.
The next project is going to be a small size playing table with some water effects.

Another beautiful set of buildings Janis. Those look soo playable and perfect for Mordheim. I must say that I'm quite surprised to see you using cardboard for the base. Have you had any trouble with it warping?
