Looks like the artist drew inspiration from this classic HeroQuest model!
Edit: OK this is hillarious. I image searched Heroquest to find this picture and after inspecting where it came from it turns out it was from another forum (WargamerAU to be precise) talking about this very same Games Day model! I'm not the only one who sees the similarity!

i actually dont like the model that much.
Im not into the demon models that much, i one for elegance and boldness. i find them to, bitty and harsh.

I think one reason the paintjob is not as strong as we are used to from the Studio gang is that it is painted to look best at a distance that is longer than the picture focused in on.
