Pact of the Raven (Witch Hunter W.I.P)

Hereare finaly some picts of my up comming warband.
Only three models tho, but more to come.

VERY NICE STUFF! I like the five o'clock shadow on the Warrior Priest's shaved head, AND the surrogate War Hound is a VERY cool idea...I've got something similar underway. The Witch Hunter is a GREAT mini...the missing sleeve is VERY Landsknect chic. ALL VERY WELL DONE!

Wow! I love the idea of the war-raven instead of the warhounds And the paintjob is great... I wish I could paint so...

Hehe, none of the above. Its from the empire plastic hero/lord kit, the raven is seated on his shield.

Where is the hammer from? Custom made? I'm looking for/making Sigmar hammer designs for my Sisters warband and I already had something like this in mind: A hammer with the tails of the twin tailed comet at the end : )

These are amazing, Cavonius. The witch hunter is a real masterwork. I love his pose.

The priest is very good, too. Is that a conversion piece? If so, what miniature did you use. It's so fantastic.

The bitz for the warrior priest:

Legs, skull/scroll, back of the hammer top and there is a key hanging from the belt: Flagellant sprue.

Head and hammer top: Chaos warrior sprue

Chest plate: Carved out from a arm protection on the plastic giant sprue.

Arms: Mordheim "empire" pitfighter.

Book on his back: Luthor huss (empire special caracter).

Leg plates: Old empire regiment sprue.

Base: Structured plastic card and some sand.

And some green stuff to put i all together.

Cool idea to use Raven. It actually says in the rulebook to use the Wardog stats for more Exotic Animals if you wish.

If you have a "walls and fences" set you can try to use the bird that's sitting on the small pole as well.

I'll just send you my witchhunters and you can return them to me when you've finished painting them, ok? Seriously though, your painting is incredible and your conversions are seamless.

Nice and dark. I like that the colors are so faint (? I don't know if that's the right word. In Swedish the word is "matt") that makes me feel that they are grimmer and more real in some way.

matt is an english word as well, meaning the same as in swedish (anti-shine)
