VERY FANCY STUFF! With my solo games I use a deck of index cards...not particularly fancy, but then neither am I. The cards are used for Random Happenings/Wandering Monsters. With solo gaming &, I guess, more conventional style games, the cards add chance/randomness factor to the game which in turn adds a greater level of excitement. Drawing a card is somehow more thrilling than rolling dice & consulting a chart...it's also more immediate.
