| Well guys, here be me Black Orc warband I have been working on. (Still gathering the materials for the shoveling orc...an idea I stole from And and WBK.) I wanted to make a warband without having repeat models, or just normal boyz and so far this is what I have. Each model will be different looking, and I swear not to have any stock models aside from the boss. Even if that means a simple head swap. A total of 8 models in my WB, including a troll. ( A few black orcs from the black orc sprue are spares in case I hire some more gits over the next few game, but they are rather normal and not pictured. Soon they will be replaced) First up is Grimgrin, the Boss. He didn't need any converting (aside from giving the gobbo a new end to his staff. which I still haven't done.) Next up is Krensh, the big'un. Nobody can take a hit like Krensh. And now we have Spadez, who survived his romp through Mordheim with 'Da House'. My old orc WB. Next up, the young'un. Wotnot. Another Young'un, Gobsmacked. (he's missin' teef.) Then come the Nuttaz. First up is Redd. He likes to run fast! And last but DEFINITELY not least, Blu, the luckiest orc around! (Makes diving charges with initiative 2.) OBVIOUSLY some of these are not finished. The bases need work, some more greenstuff modeling needs to be done. Please give me suggestions! I have a very limited imagination with college cramming me full of useless information. [EDIT!] Oh, these pics made me aware of a few mold lines I missed. I'm legally blind in my left eye, so I blame my lack of depth perception. | |

| Man Im loven that sachel on Spadez. Are you goin to include any gabbos? They are always fun. You have a great set of models to begin with for sure. And a pic of your troll would be Ace! And a orc tripping would be fun, you have a sense of motion thats great so capitalize on that. Imo. | |

| An orc tripping would be a great idea....
First comes the orc with the shovel and lantern tho. I believe all orc warbands should have one.
Troll is a privateer press troll, 80% painted or so. Working on getting a real GW troll tho. I got my eyes on the one with the fish.
I should'ave gotten a closer shot of the satchel, it's filled with very small rocks and a hook. The rocks will either be gold or Wyrdstone, not quite sure yet, tho I am leaning towards the glowing green myself...

| Great warband so far, Figgy! I really like the conversions you did on them, it really makes them "pop" as characters! I'm looking forward to see something painted! | |

| So...Spadez just lost an arm. And grew horns via a mutation.
Time to remodel him and figure out what to use this Spadez model for...
He has been with me in every orc warband I have been in, and I have fluff for it too. (in my head >_<) So I figure I can model the latest Spadez with one arm holding a shortened two handed axe over his shoulder, and a bunch of torn cloth over his amputated arm.
Also horns. And the grizzly old orc head model with one eye and missing teeth.
Gonna be ded'killy. I will never get rid of spadez until he DIES. Even if that means remodeling him over and over!

| Actually, those torch arms are part of the metal models still sold by GW.
Orcs Raiders, pretty much exactly as they are. I only added a shield on these - Check the GW site and it should be under collectible orcs if memory serves.

| Very nice painting! I especially like the cape for your Boss, the Wood, and the leather backpack. Any advice on how you got the nice textured looks? Been Wargaming for a decade and a half and still can barely paint haha! | |

| Well Balrog... The entire time I am painting I am asking dubstyles if I am doing it right. I honestly don't remember. I know for the cape I did it a medium shade of brown, inked it, then drybrushed it twice with two different shades of brown, one lighter than the other (and the drybrush applied lighter as well).. The wood is Dubstyles formula - he has the exact paints, but it's more grey than brown - strangely. Sorry, I am no good at telling people how I paint, ask Dubstyles, he knows how I paint better than I do | |

| Hmm, it looks like the wood was done with graveyard earth, drybrushed with bleached bone... although I'm not too sure what Figgy did there! t looks great though. | |
