| DeafNala, really beautiful one, aye. Omens, very nice one, too! This Freebooter's Fate game really keeps rocking the moulding machinery of Klocke & Co. I have some West Wind miniatures I would not want you to miss: First, Van Helsing's Vampire Hunters - the girl would make just the perfect Victim / Lost Daughter, in my opinion, and when I order from my Trusty Merchant of Lead the next time, she will definitely accompany that package. (I also just love the guy at the bottom right - very characterful.) Also from West Wind, Dracula and Concubines: While technically, the Count himself admittedly is no female model, he certainly has one with him. As does this guy (Rafael Maladoni) from Reaper: I could very well imagine them for great centrepieces in a special scenario, or as some fancy Undead warband leaders... | |

AARRRRRRRRGH! You REALLY wouldn't consider doing up a limited edition, superbly detailed mini as a statue no matter how often your mother dropped you on your head as a baby...at least I hope you wouldn't. Something new in the Reaper's Pathfinder Range, 60052: Almah, Merchant Princess ($4.99) by Julie Gutherie: Wouldn't she make a fine Merchant for B.T.B.?

...I hope part of the new direction involves getting painted. Other than that an Arabian Merchant Caravan would fall in the historically correct & OH-SO-COOL category.

| Paint! We need a cower in fear smiley. Aye but we'd use camels instead of a wagon. Styro's Araby Smugglers also include a merchant. I'm thinking the lass would look grand on the deck of a fast dhow. | |

| Thanks Deafnala. For me its mainly frustration with old eyes. Can't get specs that allow me to see normally and paint. If I take them off I have to find the brush and mini by feel...
That's why I don't use spearmen!

| Fantasy Forge does make some EXCELLENT Babes. Their Fantasy Female Football Teams are VERY COOL. AND their affiliate, Laughing Monk, has some GREAT LOOKING Dolls. For something different in Gaming Chicks, Lead Adventure's new Witches of the Apocalypse: Not precisely Babes, but cool nonetheless. | |

| Why is the Succubus in this section? Okay, she obviously is female and there might be some skin around the knee (can't really tell) but that's all. I do respect that people here like to see a special treatment for naked and slightly clothed miniatures, but if the succubus has to be posted here, so does every Sororita (and Busty Gwen ;-)) | |

While most of the minis that appear here have Mordheim possibilities, including the several Succubi scattered throughout the thread, some obviously do not...they are here merely because they are cool & attractive.

If this is so, then the threat-title is a little misleading. It would do fine without the R-Rated in the title. That said, I feel that what is underrepresented is not female minis in general, but minis that just "happen to be" female. Most are "obviously" female, if you catch my meaning.

If this is so, then the threat-title is a little misleading. It would do fine without the R-Rated in the title. This is so. I'm sure it was unintentional, but, by the way you phrased that, you more or less called a Fellow Forumite a liar. The R Rated is to forewarn Folks who might find the presence of nudity offensive much as an R Rated is present after the title of a movie as an indication that a movie might be objectionable to some Folk. - Grimscull wrote:

I don't catch your meaning. Perhaps you could post an example.

| I think what Grimscull wants to say is: There should be more ordinary babes in tabletop gaming without looking like some sculptor just tried to compensate the absence of real life interactions with the other gender (e.g. more awesome McVey-like sculpts and less nude barbarian babes with oversized breasts) An opinion which I share, by the way | |
