| Now that you're back in Mordheim, I again read through all 32 sides of your topic... And I still have to say, that I love your passion for detail! There is so much inspiration for me! The new pieces and add-ons match terrific with your older ones! I'm looking forward to see more of your work!! | |

| Thanks for the feedback! @ Von Kurts That's rights... the latest sets of scenery were done in another quality of plastic... @DeafNala Thanks! I will try that drybrush! @ Dragonhunter Thanks! I myself are even surprised at the things I find in this old project... I've got a small update for you... Small, but with some big things to show you. First up, another big statue... A Landsknecht from Pegaso models... Very detailed piece of kit, easy to clean and fits like a glove. I picked up this model a couple of years ago at Crisis in Antwerpen (back in 2013), with just this in mind... Straight out of the box, the only alteration is the banner top. I swapped it for a comet to add a little bit of Warhammer flavour... I also continued painting on my big tree... A simple basecoat nd drybrush should be enough for the bulk of the tree, especially as there will be lot of foliage being added. I gave the statue bit another highlight to make it stand out more... More updates coming soon... I hope to finish the tree this weekend, and maaybe even start on another building. | |

| Great update. The Landsknecht is almost too great a model to be used just as a statue, but that's up to you of course. | |

| @ DeafNala Thanks, the holy tree is one of my favourite pieces of scenery... @ Von Kurst It's bloody big indeed... @ Grimscull Thanks! The big Pegaso model is lovely indeed, I think he will fit right in with the rest of my scenery. I do agree that it could have been put to another use... I've got another update for you... I've finished my holy tree... When I say finished, I actually mean that it still needs some small details, but it's mostly done. I might add some more foliage, too... Just looked back in my thread, and the tree dates from 2013 (the final version)... All of the updated/finished pieces together... After taking the picture you see above, I cleared my board and gave it a thorough cleaning, removing a lot of dust, cobwebs and the occasional dead insect... I want to touch up some of the grey paint and finish the drybrushing. If I can find the time, I also want to make a start with the water in the canals... While doing so I got an idea to add some more detail to the table itself... I figured it would be a good idea to add some railing to one of the raised corners. I dove into my supply of plaster blocks and retrieved the bits I needed... Below you can see the steps I went through to create the metal fences... All finished and ready for some paint... Don't mind the uneven strips of plastic, the fences will be cut to size when they are placed on the walls... | |

| Thanks for the feedback! Since I have a short vacation I have another update to show you... I have several bridges in my own little corner of Mordheim, all of them made from wood. Today I made a new bridge, this time made from plaster... Getting it all to fit took quite a lot of sanding, but it looks quite nice... Not finished, obviously, but the first coat of oaint gives a good indication of how the finished bridge will look like... This bridge replaces one of the wooden bridges, I think it's quite an improvemend and a welcome addition to my board... | |

| Great work so far! I have a question regarding the iron fences: As far as I can see you use plastic strips and round material for the fences. How do you create the sharp tips of the vertical parts? Pressing the tips with a hot tool or how? | |

| Thanks guys!
@ DeafNala I've been putting off adding a plaster bridge since the start of the project... Seems quite a waste of time now, as this one turned out quite well. Might even add another one on the lower level.
@ Von Kurst Photobucket was bit buggy last time, the pics seem to be working fine now...
@ Singollo Thanks! No hot tools involved... I just flatten them with a smooth pair of pliers, and then I cut them to shape. The pastic is quite soft, so this requires very little effort and the effect works just fine.
More updates coming soon. Got a game planned for this afternoon, the first in a couple of years...

| I've been lurking since 2013, and reading through yours and Theomar's scenery logs has persuaded me to actually start playing Mordheim, so I'm glad to see that you're active again. | |

| @ DarkLordDaniel Thanks! Not only active, but having a lot of fun, too... Time for another update... I've finished my second enteance to the catacombs... Together with the first entrance it serves as a link to my dungeon. I've also updated my small set of walls... A lick of paint and some foliage. Two bridges, both with a little detail... And while working on some bridges, I also finished my drawbridge... Quite pleased with the final result... Though it's a damn shame it took me so long to complete. I didn't want to glue the bridge to my board, but I did need a way to keep it in place. So in stead of glue, I used a couple of magnets. These are easily strong enough to keep the bridge in place. I also added a gate to one of the new arches, just to add some more detail/variety... More updates coming soon, I already cast up enough bits to build another plaster bridge... | |

| I am in awe. Love the work you put into the table. The gate just blows me away for some reason. It is such a mundane detail, but it gives the arch another level of realism. | |

| Thanks guys! As I ventured back into Mordheim my attention was drawn to Frostgrave... Both games are comparable, yet have notable differences. One of the similarities is the setting of both games: a skirmish game in a ruined city... Starting a new game is just another incentive to finish my Mordheim table. As a start I set about creating a set of Treasure Markers. A thorough dig through my bitsboxes yielded enough metal, plastic and plaster bits and pieces to make some interesting Treasure Markers. All done in a single weekend... Even though they are all very different, I think they work very well as a set. Feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think... I've got another four ready for a load of coins, so expect updates soon... | |

@ Grimscull The armor stand is not a conversion, it's an old bit I picked up second hand a couple of years ago. | |

| Thanks Dragonhunter! I made another four Treasure Markers, bringing the total up to ten... Just like the first set, these were cobbled together from plaster, metal and resin bits. All the plaster bits are my own casts, the metal and resin bits are from various manufacturers. The coins and bases should tie them in with the rest of the set... | |
