The large magnets arrived yesterday, so I can now present you the 90 % finished starting warband (I just need to fill some gaps around the waist with GS now that I've added the magnets and add some little extras and smooth everything out).

And here's a shot to show you how strong these small magnets are... I'm holding the chieftain just by his head, and this is connected to the body only by a 2mm magnet:



And last, a sneak preview of my condemned. I wish I could say the shot is blurry to increase suspence, but it was just my inability to do it right. He is featuring a daemonette foot which looks like a chicken foot. I'm not yet sure if I'll give him head options, but he will definitely get magnetized arms so I can change them around a little bit, give him normal arms, etc.

The Condemned looks great! Actually the possibility of giving the Condemned proper arms is awesome: This can be used to represent him having a set number of attacks instead of the variable D3 he starts with. Really cool!

and you WILL give him a magnetized head too!

yours look slightly more powerfull though, how much bigger are they, compared to the "medieval horses" ?

Ez, they are notably larger, but not that much... unfortunately, I have the few ordinary horses packed up already, but I'll see if I find one tomorrow and take a comparison shot. I'd guess they could be the size your looking for.

Hey, unfortunately, there has been no progress, as I am currently quite occupied every day... also, I am unfortunately lacking space so I can't leave any projects lying around to work on them for a few minutes now and then... but be assured, one day I will finish them plus the dozens of other project (like creating mounted versions of my Protectorate of Sigmar characters, etc.).

Alright folks, I'm back... with this being my top priotity project until the 4th Boring Meeting, I'll get my paints out of the closet by tomorrow, check which ones are still usable and get painting the little fellows, all the while converting some more... amongst which is a unit I fell in love with as soon as I read of the possibility in the BTB supplement:



Unfortunately, the GW rhinox turned out to be a lot smaller than the FW one, which I purchased first but put on the shelf after I discovered that they mounted the whole bloody ogre body on it for no apparent reason...

Both are VERY COOL minis! Besides it's size the Forge World Rhinox has a NASTIER expression...BIG with an attitude is BETTER. HAVE FUN painting the Beasties up!

Actually, the metal one is not larger than a horse in height Let's see how far I get with modelling.

While I just wanted to finish up some modelling today and then start painting, I ended up modelling for most of the time... Anyway, I still managed to get at least some basecoats on the warriors:

Eventually, I will do one, even though it's not first priority. Currently, I am working on the condemned, not sure whether I will magnetize him or not... apart from that, he's doing fine

IMPRESSIVE looking minis; much as I dislike the Chaos background fluff, the Chaos Warriors & Marauders are very cool...the colors you've picked out enhance the feel of the minis. VERY PROMISING W.I.P.PIECES!
