Jänis's Mercenary Warband

So here are my mercenaries plus Warlock. I use them as Marienburgers in Mordheim, but I use them also in Warhammer as part of my Middenheim army. I hope you all like them. I try to take more fotos and post those pics in here. as soon as possible

I really like the last guy! Can you tell me where didja take the various pieces?

So basicly part are from two sets. Torso & pistol arm is from new empire Handgunners Boxed Set, and armoured sword arm and head is from Empire Knight box. Those kinight parts belong to a champion. That's about it. More figures are waiting in table from some painting and basing.

My only cretique is that it looks like the grey pant leg/shirt sleve looks like straight plastic model.

Oh yea, and the facial expressions on those last two are FREAKING AWESOME. I'm shaking in my socks, and I'm 6 feet taller than him =)

OH. I really never thought about that grey area looks like plastic. I left part gray because I want my mens look more sinister or some thing like that...

Actually, I don't think the grey parts look like plastic. They just look like grey cloths to me

Well, Ashton. I don't have any thing special method to paint. Just paint eyes black and then put some on those eyes. After that do pupil with black. And mouth is just black. Use heads that have nice impresion, like mouth open. Then it look like our man is yelling battle cry.

They look great Nice work and they've been very inspiring as I work on my warband!

Nice work Janis. I know that these models look even more impressing in real life. Played against them quite often.

Judging from what you can see, they look awesome! I really like the fur of the skaven and the basejobs. And I really like your color scheme for the Empire soldier (much better than the GW one!)

You REALLY utilized the components from the various Empire plastics EXTREMELY WELL! AND created some TRULY unique pieces. I LOVE them all. AND those are some of the NICEST Rat Guys I've EVER seen! Your choice of color & execution are of a VERY high level. GREAT WORK! So, don't be a stranger.
