Shagfang the Great and his Gubbinz'

Hi to all (new to the forum ),

i wanted to start my forum presence by showing some finished pieces of my Night Goblin Warband, one after another (hopefully it will motivate me to finish them all soon ) Pretty much all of the Warband will be wearing red robes (but the boss wears the robe of so-total-uber-supreme-leadership, which has the most expensive colour - purple). His Squigs will be of various colours.

So, for starters, this is Shagfang the Great. He is the biggest' n' meanest o' tha Gubbinz'. He fights with the greatest great weapon around and is pretty much a megalomaniac. His plan is to accumulate enough of tha' glorious green stones - so that he can eventually defeat all the big meanies' who kicked him around before. Eventually he wants to rule all of the world... (I'll tell you how it ended )

Here you see him with some of tha green glowin' stonez... those must be presents from Gork and Mork!!!



Here we have Fargoth, the Bosses favourite Pet Squig. He would like to keep him on an only-halflings-diet, but the Squig is not cooperating much. The other one is Sepp, the team's doodler. (Sry the pic is not the best, but it's already evening here - i will switch it out later )



Here you can see Gubbinz' again, plus Squibbly, the heroic Snotling. This Snotling was the hero of my last game He single-handedly took out a dark elf hero (with phantastic rolls - 5+ to hit (+parry reroll), 5+ to wound, 2+armour save from the elf, and then a 5 --> out of action - also, the dark elf was able to strike first but accomplished nothing). I didn't calculate the odds, but they have to be about 1/500+...

A FINE looking LORD OF THE NIGHT Goblins! He looks lost in his own self importance...appropriately. The little Green Loony has a LOTof character. Nice choice of colors. WELL DONE!

Very nice - all of it. I do like how you did those shards. Very nice colour for Fargoth.

Now you can see Squibbly, Bringer of Doom to Dark Elves!!

edit: About the shards, i made those out of simple pebble - i think i drybrushed from Dark Angels Green all the way up to Scorpion Green and a bit of Skull White (in anyway just a tinytiny bit of the last 2 colours).
I can't swear on it though - did it some time ago. I only drybrushed a little with the lighter colours, to create the illusion that the shard in itself is somehow "dark, but still glowing"...
