Moar Ogres! Updated 17th of April

okay im back, a month later than i had anticipated but still. turns out joining a fraternity takes up alot of time..... oh and so does studying philosophy. well now that ive found the warhammer store here in a new city im ready to pick up where i left off.

ive also started on a new warband though i do not know what they will be played as, right now i have 4 models assembled who look like humans from sylvania wich is kinda weird but they look cool, tomorrow im picking up a camera at my folks so ill post some pics aswell as a first wip pic of the flying kick ninja that i started painting. cya all soon

Ok turns out im even lazier than expected of myself, i have not painted anything tbh. that's mostly cause painting is my least favorite thing about this hobby, i have however modeled alot of new chars and not only ninjas. i have started making ogres for a full scale whfb army. i picked ogres because theyre awesome to convert. the army is mercenary themed wich basically means that it has ogres from all over the world, from lustria to kislev. right now i only have a few but thats cause they take a long time to make

Ok here are the ogres, first is my hunter im quite pleased with him tbh. dont know what i will use as sabretusks for him yet (the normal ones arent that cool imo) im thinking of chaos hounds

His bow is so huge because in the army book its described as a handheld bolt thrower and the normal bow u get witht the regular hunter is only lightly larger than a normal xbow so i scratch built this one



up next is the witch hunter ogre, hes almost done with painting aswell



next is the warrior priest ogre, with a scratchbuilt hammer (first time i ever sculpted a weapon, turned out pretty good imho) also paint wip

and this is the base they will be standing on (exept the hunter who will stand on a snowy mountain)

finaly gave my lizardogre a head, i made a headdress out of some spare bits it looks pretty good imho


and a closeup of the headdress, its kinda blurry but i couldnt get the camera to focus properly

That's COOL! He looks like going to a Marde Gras(sp) parade...to kill people. LOVE the hat.

ok gusy, i was on vacation and while skiing i failed my initiative test and fell down breaking the thumb of my right (dominant) hand so updates will be a little slow cast should be off next week and i assume i will be able to use my hand normally.

ok i painted some of the ogres and made some new ones. also made new models for my posessed and some new witch hunters

first up painted ogres:

those pants are hell to make btw waiting for a part to dry before moving on truely tested my patience

Well you've certainly been busy...VERY COOL STUFF there. The Imperial Ogre is a hands down favorite with moi with the Peg Legged Possessed coming in at a close second. All VERY IMAGINATIVE & WELL DONE!

yea its a shield from the minotaur box, i was makin my own and then i was like: wait i have a readymade one right here >.<

I HAVE RETURNED or something like that. here are my latest creations an ogre warband aswell as a unit for whfb:

WELCOME BACK; it's nice to see you've returned bearing COOL new stuff. You're becoming to Ogres what Warboss Kurgan is to Orcs. I think the Pirate Captain Skullbeard might just be my favorite in the mix. Keep up the FINE WORK & don't be such a stranger!

BTW you can use the standard in Mordheim. In the Opulent Goods article: 10gc rare 5; it grants a reroll to "All Alone" tests to models within 12"...also makes the War Band look Oh-So-Cool.
