| Got the Mordheim Frenzied Mob in the mail yesterday, not that it has anything to do with this thread yet. Just felt good to say it. Anyho, here are some of my WIP's.. come to think of it, ALL my minis are wip. I never seem to get around to finish most of my mini's. But that way they last longer My Possessed guy.. thingie. By the way, that thing he has wrapped around his leg... What the hell is it supposed to be?? With my dirty mind it always ends up being a demonic schlong. My Dreg. I snipped off the spear and gave him a shovel. it was a pretty obvious thing to do. Also thinking giving his shirt a new paintjob. Also found this chappie. Now I know, it's not a Mordheim figure, but I think he and his mates will go very good along with the Possessed Brethren. Think it was a Black Tree Design mini.

| Thank you Yeah I never understood why a guy with a backpack, obviously full of corpse parts, would have a spear. A shovel is more fitting for a graveyard-treasure-hunt-bonanza. Am I sensing a KKK referral? But no, the hoodie will get some occult symbols and crap on it, probably a chaos star on the face or something EVIL like that. | |

| VERY COOL & STRANGE, my very cool & strange friend! I haven't any idea what the wrap around thingy is either, but your idea sounds plausible, AND the paint job, choice of colors, et al ROCK!The shovel conversion on the Dreg is EXCELLENT; VERY in character. I like the yellow shirt; i.e., just because he's the grave robbing, deformed slave of a Foul Vampire doesn't mean he can't be a snappy dresser. The Black Tree(?) Brethren is a VERY NICE alternative to the GW mini AND nicely painted to boot. VERY WELL DONE ALL AROUND! | |

| @Foot: No worries. I was actually considering painting them up as KKK-ish just for the hell of it ('cause that was the first thing I thought about when I saw them, the Possessed connection wasn't made until I actually got them home). But I've decided it would look a bit boring and that many may not have the same *beep*uped humour as me. So we'll just make it chaotic and evil @DeafNala- Cheers my friend Yeah I didn't want to paint the Dreg in the old doom-gloom style. Felt that had been done already. But the yellow shirt does on the other hand give me some "Hello thailor" vibes. Not sure I want that. heheh Righty ho here we go. A Witch so the witch hunters actually have something to burn. Also a Black Tree mini I think. A Plague Bearer, love these gory guys A Scarecrow from Reaper. My Mystery Dwarf- No one knows his name, or where his from. And of course, a Zombie Group shot (Say BRAAAAAAIIIIIINS!!) | |

| Vous are ZE ARTISTE! Going from the traditional Witchy black to an OH SO GIRLY pink might not float everyones boat, but I like it. That is a VERY cool mini with a suitably VERY cool paint job. A nice, disgusting looking Plague Bearer; REALLY looks the part. AND I agree, there is something endearing about the Lad/Lass/Thingy. This, of course. could be a form of mental illness we share. I've GOT TO GET one of those Scare Crows; the mini ROCKS, AND it turned out GREAT!The Dwarf With No Name might not be a state of the art mini, but he has a LOT of charm & personality that you brought out VERY WELL. The Living Impaired look GREAT. GW's Zombies are some of the nicest plastics that they've done. You've done them justice. I can't relate with the "Brrraaaiiins" thing. Why not "Pizzzza" or "Brrroooads"? Well I guess the later would be "Sexxxissst". GREAT STUFF! KEEP'EM COMING! | |

| Seems like the dwarf gets 1 price in the grim bastard category. Just wish I knew where the hell it's from (hence the mystery phrase). Just thought I'd post two of my Foundry pirates today (busy painting my new Discworld minis. Fu**en LOVE these guys!). @bigoriginal- Since I don't give a toss about Mordheim as a game (just in it for the setting and the mini's. Hell I don't even play WHFB or 40K, still I throw my hard earned cash at GW. Need to get my head examined) it will be a purely diorama piece. But I guess it would work as a Possessed character or for the Vampires. @DeafNala- Indeed. I like to think outside the traditional box. Plus I think that pink is somehow more evil than black. It has the sense of impending candy doom. Well, according to this documentary I've seen (a little movie called Return of the Living Dead) and sientific litterature I've read on the subject (Christopher Moore's "The Stupidest Angel") Zombies in general only care for brains... and Ikea furniture for some odd reason. Righty Tighty. Here's todays crop: Pirates. Way cooler than ninjas, and more fun to paint. These are from Foundry and are according to the labels Calico Jack and Black Beard.. But who cares what they say. Well what do you know? Some Mordheim minis! Can someone explain to me what the deal is with these guys and fish? Seems sort of pervy to me. This is one of my favorite sculpts from GW. Don't know why tho. And yes, he's BLUE! Wanted to give him an evil smurf vibe. An early attempt to use green stuff. After seeing some cheesy horror flick, I wanted to do a zombie/mutant/fungus hybrid. Turned out a bit nurgly I think. Sorry 'bout the blurry pic. An early built mushroom of doom. Everything except the skellie is scratchbuilt. Made about 3 or 4 of these guys, but I think this is the one that I'm most pleased with. Gonna add some moss-ish stuff to the skeleton and slap a layer of water effect on the hat for that yummy slime feeling. | |

| I LOVE 'EM ALL! The preceeding statement should cover anything I miss inflicting a comment upon . The Fish question is something that's bugged me for awhile also. No one seems to have an answer as to why all the fish. HOWEVER ,looking at Aly Morrison, who designed many of the fish toting loonies, I can see someone who, like moi, is living in some '60s inhalation therapy, mushroom motivated moment which, while not giving an explanation, does provide a reason. At any rate the Witch Hunter Flunkies ARE very nicely done. The Gnoblar is GREAT. I like the blue flesh tone & pink nose. There are blind people with a better sense of color than the GW designers; being restricted to their ideas is not something I'd consider doing voluntarily. The Zombie is disturbing. WELL DONE!As someone who has done up a fair number of carnivorous mushrooms, stumps, & trees of various sizes, I'd say your Mutant Mushroom is a MASTER PIECE! Thanks for all the UBERCOOL STUFF, Oh Kindred Spirit! | |

| @DeafNala- Sir, my hat off to you. That stump is frickin AWESOME! I may have to shamelessly steal that design some day. Are the branches made of wire? And is the stump itself made of GS, Sculpey/Fimo/Whatever? And the grate with the zombie arms is kick ass! Oh my, think I just had a minor Nerdgasm here... @dwi- Hmm, well that could make sense. But like you said, zealots are nuts, so I don't quite buy in to the idea of hunting. I more reckon it to be a backup for After-Battle Sweet Love Making. But on the other hand, I might just be a retard. Keep the theories coming! I need to get the trout-loving image out of my head. | |

| The stump/trunk is a cut down florist foam cone [the top became a BIG mushroom] shaped, covered with foam putty [Woodland Scenics], & carved. The roots/branches are wrapped floral wire [wrapped in raephia]; for thinner branches. I used the unwrapped variety of floral wire . I can give you a step by step, of you'd loke to give it a whirl. | |

| I'll give you a more detailed description of the how to & materials when my brain starts functioning [if ever ] again. BTW I also don't actually play the game other than an occasional solo venture; I mostly paint stuff for other folk to game with. It's my sometimes humble opinion that EVERY toy soldier has the RIGHT to be played with [with or without accompanying sound effects ]. @Paluke: Thanks; I'm glad you liked them. | |

| @Paluke- Thank you very much kind sir Dammit, the German in me just saw you're Dutch and wanted to say something about cheese, but I will be a gentleman and restrain the beast. ha ha. Can't believe how funny I am... *sigh* @DeafNala- Exactly! Just because we don't play the game doesn't mean we can't be grown men who play with tiny toy soldiers... er.. Feeling an urge to buy porno mags and scratch myself in public just to feel secure in my manliness. Again: Ha ha ect. Odin almighty I need to get a life. Looking forward to the How-To. Recognize the problem with malfunctioning brain. Half of the time I can't remember how the hell I do my terrain afterward. | |

| Yeah I've been told by the senior Germans in my family that another word for someone Dutch is Kaas Kopf or something along those lines (was born not too far from the border to the Netherlands, so my grandparents accent sort of flirts with dutch too.). I on the other hand associate the dutch with clogs or tulips. And this from a guy who's country is associateted with porn and Abba | |

| Yeah I know it meant cheese head and I never really got what was so insulting about it. There are far worse things to be called. Not that I'm going to count them up here and now. hehe Bash- Thank you very much! And I must say your ninjas are really cool, but face it: A ninja is no match against a rum stinking, cutlass wielding, berserker pirate pumped up on toadstool and wenches. | |
