| I've ben thinking about making a female warband maybe girl pirates not sure what rules I'll use yet. I have some sister repentia I'll probably use a few of them chop the weapons I'm not a big fan of the mordheim amazons and the sisters models
What other female models are there I could use preferably plastic for converting and cheapness? not deamonettes as they're half and half and are a little scary.

Doh, I was about to suggest those. I'm probably going to order some and convert them into mutants for my Possessed warband. It's too guy heavy right now.

| I am currently converting a demonette into an ordinary female, but it's not really a lot of fun... too much demon stuff on them... Other than that, there are some female amongst the elven warriors (at least Dark and Wood Elves). And if you'd like to try something else but GW, I can recommend the awesome piratesses from Black Scorpion! | |

I was planning on doing Pirates as my next warband, and I think I know where I'm getting the models now. These seem reasonably priced. I love the female models! I think I'll try and mix it up some with males and females, though I seriously considered doing an all female pirates warband.

| Those are some nice models but I'll be playing in a gw store on occasion so they'll need to be gw. The only models I can find seem to be woodelf glade guard does any one have a good close up pic of a painted one? If I used them they'd probably have to be outlaws of stirwood forest. | |

| My buddy, John, showed up at the GW store in Katy, TX with a War Band of Rackham Babes that I had painted for him. When the GW shop Guy pointed out they weren't GW minis, he told them he brought them along to show them what a female ACTUALLY looked like. They were not amused. | |

| He He top man! I'm planning a female pirate warband, for the simple reason that Werner's female pirate queen for Freebooter minis is absolutley awesome, and speeking of Rackham, what have these guys done? they had some of the best mini sculpts out there and now they've stopped making em and gone on to produce some mediocre plastics instead, is it me or is the world going mad. Alas though if you are going to use GW minis for your warband you will have a lot of converting to do, the witches for 40k dark eldar are pretty mean and cool to convert though | |

| With GW, there are always some dark elf torsos, the witch elves, several wood elves, bretonnian ladies... and the beautiful female ogre, of course. But that's pretty much it, I'm afraid.
Oh, and even though I agree with John, there are some female sculpts from Reaper or Hasslefree (if I remember correctly) which are way more frightening than the GW ones!

| This sounds like a really cool warband. I'd like to make some suggestions for the heroins names.
Chesty La Rue Busty Sinclaire Tits McGee Hooty Mac Boobity Dolly
I'm sorry I couldn't resist. I've seldom seen a mini with breasts to scale. They're almost always freakishly large. Often larger than their heads...each. |

I can see a Toy Soldier twelve step program looming on the horizon with a possible ban by Major League Baseball, the NFL, NBA, & NASCAR. But, at least, you won't find yourself in the gutter with a paint bottle in your hand, reeking of spray finish.
