| Long time since I was here last. But now a new challenge has shown itself. A campaign....in Mordheim. The city with opportunities...city of death! And rather than dig up the old crew...I choose to get hold of the new archer and halberdier sets. This combined with my bitsbox....oh yes.... Now then...new mob/gang/army/convicts....new theme....but what? Reiklanders are my choise. Last theme was a lot of musicians...and hoods over their faces. And the really old gang was just from the ordinary empire troops. Time to get low down and dirty! Deserters from the army, thives, murderers, escaped prisoners...men with no future, nowhere to be safe. Men who have nothing to loose. Sounds about right.... And to lead them....the third son of a disposed noble. Formerly in the army, now gone rouge. It pays more to be a sword for hire. (Rumour has it he was a leutenant) Commander Rugan and his ruffnecks! Pics to come, and some more fluff. Wants to do something extra to the bases...no idea what ...yet... | |

| Aye...it warms a cold mercenary heart...to know one has been missed.... Back on topic! 5 men have been assembled. The Captain, 2 swordsmen and two marksmen. I better give you the rooster: Captain, brace of duelling pistols and a sword Champ 1, hammer and sword Champ2, hammer and sword Youngblood, bow 5 marksmen with longbows 3 swordsmen with sword and buckler. Stash: 9 gold pieces. The stout ones out there will start yelling: You have used too much gold you cheater!!! Well this campaign sees us getting a purse of 600 to start things of. Then we get territories, and then...the real fun starts!!! Damn small bases....so I will stick to simple ones. A bit of rubble, rats and whatever my bits box vomits up. As said 5 minis done, however they are quite boring to look at. I will post pics when something worthy arise from this, in order to keep you from yawning over my warband! | |

| "So you want me, to kill on your command? And you will pay me solid gold coins for this? And do it as I wish?" The mercenary reached for the bottle to refill his cup. "Yes Dorphmann, that is exactly what I want." Stroking his small mustache, his steel glare was locked upon the mercenary Dorpmann. "Well Sir, I have followed you before, and I will be happy to do so again. Count me in. Which hell will we be going to this time?" "Mordheim" He stated flatly, his eyes did not even seem to blink. Dorphmann spluttered in his cup, and quickly sat it down on the table. Wide eyed he looked at the man opposite him. "Mordheim....city of the damned! Not many come sane out, let alone alive!" The mercenary Dorpmann began to laugh. Some in the bar glanced their way, but quickly returned to their own business. "Rugan you bastard! I can not say no to that challenge! And I know my brother will follow as well!" "I presume you know where he is then?" Rugan lit his pipe. "If you have some fast horses, and maybe a man or two good with bows, then I know where he is. He is to be executed in the square in about half a glas!" Rugan took this bit of news with a puff on the his pipe. "Again?" He said, with a wry smile edging it`s way on his face...... The band has been collected, tomorrow i do hope to have some pics up. | |

| VERY COOL! Before the first mini has been modeled the Band will have a unique character all its own. This is going to be a FINE Fellowship of Rogues & Miscreants, & their evolution a pleasure to follow. EXCELLENT FLUFF! ON TO THE PAINTING! | |

| Had a hectic week...and it`s not over yet!!! However, some paint have been slapped on them. Keeping to earthtones. Keeping it a bit more realistic. Do anybody want more fluff about them as I go along? Pics soon to come of progress | |

| "The sky is dark" ALbrecht said as he gazed up at the sky from outside the gates to the city. "The sky is always dark in Mordheim ALbrecht." Rugan took his pipe out. "Everything is dark!" "Open your eyes then little brother!" Dorphmann slapped his brother hard on the back as he started laughing. Walking over to Rugan, he could not help himself from looking up into the sky as well. "Is it a bit purple? Weird... Well Sir, we are ready when you are. All accounted for.""Well gentlemen, stay sharp, and watch out for eachother. This is not like anything you have tried or seen before. You will see wonders, and nightmares. And you will.... Is little Dorphmann asleep while standing up?!"Rugan, Captain of my merry little Reiklander gang Albrecht and Dorphmann.Champions. On the right little Dorphmann. Youngblood. | The band was in high spirits. A couple of bottles brought along from Reikland had been opened. The first victory, the first fight. "Right through the neck! The mad flaggelant took two more steps before the damn bugger knew he was dead!" The marksman credited for the killshot mimmicked with flailing arms and a scream. The others laughed. All except Rugan, he sat puffing on his pipe. Content to look upon his band, first fight had gone well. Against a witchhunter group no less. He was starting to work them together as a force. "Sir, I return bearing gifts!" Dorphman had a wicked smile on his lips. Two men stood behind him. "Both Reikland blood, both good marksmen. And the lads found a light armor as well, thought you would want it. Spoils of war. " Rugan looked upon the bloodstained armour, and recognized the symbols. He would have to make some modifications, though that should pose no problem. This armour did not protect the witchhunter from Rugan`s shot. The duelling pistol had been deadly accurate. "Let the men celebrate, tomorrow we find a smith. And maybe some better competion!" As you may deduct from the little story.... had my first match against a witchhunter warband. Killed off a flaggelant and a witchhunter! Rolled double 3 (corpse) and then a 6 (light armour) Money was used for another 2 marksmen, maxing my limit out for them. I had no models out of action. And on another note, I suck in close combat! Thankfully my opponent was unable to retaliate. My shooting will see me through this, through the damned city of Mordheim! | |
