| OOOOOOOOO, MORE PRETTY PICS! The Death Squad games ALMOST make me want to run [well, shuffle quickly ] right out & get some 40K minis. Unfortunately [or fortunately, as the case may be ] this would entail pulling off a bank job first, AND making a getaway on the Bus MIGHT prove problematic. I think I'll settle for doing other folks DS minis...for now. The Metal Legged Guy in the bottom photo IS ubercool! | |

| The guy with the sexy chrome legs is LT Dan. Mordheimer converted him. | |

| Yes... Lieutenant Dan and his 'magic legs'. I converted and painted the model for DaBank... we joke so much about the name that I HAD to make a model. He has Necron legs.... I have a Necron army, so it was OK to sacrifice one of them for the cause!
Maybe later I will take cool pics about all the models... HA!
Thanks! | |

| Cool stuff! I, too, am a fan of the Necro-Man (teehee, half man half necron, or dead guy; depending on how you look at it). Just a quick question: will Death-Squads feature vehicles? | |

| That is DaBank's baby! HA!
Basically (and again, DaBank is Da Boss when it comes to all this) everyone would have access to three basic vehicle types: a bike, a buggy and a truck. While all the types will be very similar, there will be subtle differences among each race... for example, the IG bikes could have more armor, while the Eldar Jetbikes have little armor but can hover over terrain, etc.
Unlike 40k, there will be no armor values... no different rules to attack vehicles. Instead they will be tougher (T6) and with multiple wounds. Attack to vehicles could be randomly determined where they did damage (engine, tires, driver, etc) so there could be different results.
If this is balanced, it would allow Death Squads tobe used as a Mad Max type game (mostly vehicles) or have the Squads use vehicles on specific scenarios. Players would be happy with the freedom of movement and play this section could bring. | |

| Yes! I've got a (still unpainted) ash-wastes massive-truck and a kit of a 1:35 I.D.f. M113 tank-repair vehicle I want to convert. | |

| What Mordheimer said and I am including "one flyer" type in each group. Meaning it will a Helicopter type and can only carry a few models but can go as high as 8 inches or somethign like that. Yes, the idea was taken from Deff Koptas, Mad Max and there is a two person Deff Kopta in Gorka Morka. LOL. Eldar will have all the same "vehicles" but they will be skimmers, and will cost a few points more as they can pass over difficult terrain unlike a wheeled or tracked vehicle. | |
