WANTED: Translators for the BTB website aka YOU!

Hello everyone!

I am planning on making certain parts of the website available in various languages. I can take care of German myself (it's in English anyways) and a nice dude already translated into Italian. I'd be interested in French, Spain and whatever you may come up with.

Since this is such an internatial forum and you guys are so enthusiastic I thought I might find some helpful people here. We are not talking about translating tons of text, by the way. It's the various chapters (Warbands, Scenarios, etc..) and site descriptions that I'd like to see translated.

Please let me know if you would like to contribute. I'd greatly appreciate it - and so would proably everyone else of your language.

PS: Native speakers preferred!

PPS: If you need a reward for your efforts and you're not satisfied with seeing your name in the BTB credits sections, then I might put you on the VIP list of people who are first to get the finished supplement.

Has mordheim even been translated into dutch?

I could add yeniche to the languages noone needs but i could translate into, not that i would do.

I can translate into french since I'm a native speaker, except that I wasn't born there . I COULD do spanish too, but I am afraid that it might be too much work because I'm not that fluent.
Just PM me about how much it is to translate, and I'll see what I can do!

Try Tortiou for spanish (and french too, for that matter). He's a talented hobby-writer who can speak more languages than I can count, so you'll get a very fancy translation

PS: Oh and PLEASE do maltese and dutch guys! That would be awesome! How many Mordheim web-pages are there in maltese?

PPS: You speak Yeniche Yorik? Wow... isn't that like a Roma language? How come you speak such an exotic language?

None Tom but is Maltese useful? I mean no one speaks Maltese except for Maltese ppl lol. and it isn't studied anywhere.

Well, when you marry a gypsi it's nice to know what the hell she's talking about to her relatives and it's not a roma language(wholly different people) but gypsi in a broader sense, it's like the difference between austria and germany, different land, similar customs but you insult an austrian if you say he's german(or swiss for that matter).

As Admin Tom said, I would be pleased to help for translations in French (mother tongue) but forget about Spanish... I mean I could probably translate FROM spanish to another language but not translate english INTO spanish for example.
(even if spanish is supposed to be my "father tongue" lol)

You and Tom can decide which one wants to volunteer. There is a thread in the BTB forum where you could post if you wanted. But this would require you to register. I don't know if you want to do so. Otherwise I could sent you a word .doc file with the English text where you can write the french texts right below. What do you prefer? (adressing you both, Totiou and Tom)

I think these five languages cover the most important ones. I don't feel any Asian people are part of the "worldwide" community so that should be sufficient. What do you think?

I tried to load, reload and I waited 10mins, but I only get "Seitenladefehler" all the time...

So I tried entering the forum through the BTB website... same problem.

Yeah, that stupid forum is down most of the time. I don't know why. I sent Tortiou an email with document. Maybe he can send the file to Tom once he got tired of translating.
