| So there are some really great miniatures in the Helldorado range. I wonder what size they are.. Does anyone here know, or, better yet, have pictures of the minis with a GW one (or something else I'm familiar with) next to them? That would be great. | |

| They're Heroic Scale 28mm; i.e., 30mm t0 32mm depending on where you measure them. AND damn fine looking mins, eh?! They're a bit difficult to come by on this side of The Pond, but, considering that they're WAY beyond my price bracket, that's acceptable. | |

| Thanks, Deaf! I knew you'd have something to say about this. They're steep prices led me to believe they may be consierably larger than "normal" models. Actually 30mm is the perfect scale since that's what most minis for my current project are (with an occasional 28mm mini though). 32mm, however, would be too large. Unfortunately those 2 Millimeters do matter. So 30mm bottom to eyes would be good (like the Black Scorpion minis). | |

| A few of the REALLY nice minis from folks like Enigma, Anima Tactics, & Infinity have 28-32mm minis in the $15 bracket. They ARE all BEAUTIFUL minis that I try to talk my patrons into commissioning; subliminal suggestion sometimes works . | |

| I too like the Enigma models. They look great. I'm looking for more "historical" models though, nothing "fantasy" and crazy. Some of the humans from Helldorado work quite well for that. | |

| Yeah, those are some beautiful minis for sure. Unfortunately for me, I don't think anyone distributes them here in North America. But yeah, they are stunning. Even downloaded the free rulebook off their site (though I haven't read it yet). | |

| I read somewhere they have stopped doing them.
I believe they can be bought at maelstromgames

| That.. that's actually really good news!
I can't say I really care for Anima Tactics' looks, but it sounds like Cipher understands the games are aimed at different corners of the market.

Scuttlebutt has it that the minis will be done by the same folks that did the originals, but the game will be put forward at an accelerated rate by the Anima Guys...that IS indeed GOOD NEWS! The Anima minis are a mixed bag of likes & don't likes with moi. Depending on their feelings about anime in general, most folks either love their stuff or absolutely hate it.
