Hi all!

I was wondering where I could find the rules for the "special" sorcerer for the Middenheimer mercenary warband

the one you can start with by swapping a champion for the mage/caster/priest thing.

Or am i rambling scratch

I think you might mean the Priest of Morr from Town Cryer 12. I'm not sure if it's the right one though as I don't have the TCs at hand..

Or perhaps he's talking about the Wolf Priest of Ulric from TC8??

Oh yes, that must be it. The Morr Priest is just some death priest hired sword, right? Ulric is right for Middenheim...

Yeah, but in the TC8, they didn't explain how to use the wolf priest Neutral
I saw in the Ultimate Mordheim Rulebook that it's now used as a Hired sword, is it true? Sad

What do you mean how to use him? it states he can be taken as a replacement for one of your champions. He's a hero. Gets access to PRAYERS, and all the info was listed in TC8. In the resources section in this forum, you can download TC8 and check out the rules for this guy. He's not bad, and worth trying out.

Definately makes the otherwise boring Middenheimer warband lots more interesting.

Of course ! And that's why I'm trying to do them my second warband Very Happy
Thanks, I was disappointed that in the Ultimate Mordheim Rulebook it was just an hired sword thumbsup
(And I have all the TC at home, miss just the 26th, don't know why)

The wolf priest is funny because it *is* called a hired sword but is actually a replacement hero (no upkeep and replaces a Champion as a Hero). I guess it is called a hired sword because it was introduced at a later date also it is still unofficial (although it is quite balanced) even though the game mechanics for it work along the same lines as the Cleric in the Outlaws of Stirwood Forest warband.
