| I only have 2 warbands that is all my own. Together with imbued we have A lot of warbands but those two are all mine But it is hard to get my figures ready when being a full time mum. Most of the time when the baby are sleeping I am either painting or doing stuff on my computer. Either way I have started on my sisters warband, but I am not sure that I am satisfied with the start. So if you guys could tell me what you think about my first sister (Which I will probably strip of color again since I am not that happy about it and have started a little different with my other sisters. | |

| LOOKIN' GOOD! I LOVE the expression on her face; it's like she's saying "hitting you with my flail IS for your own GOOD, you poor, misguided Heretic" [THWACK!]. The paint job is EXCELLENT, but if you're going to redo the Girl, may be a less traditional color scheme MIGHT give a MORE unique & personalized War Band. If I EVER get to it I'm thinking of doing a Sisters War Band using Reaper minis with a Black/Cream color scheme & a dash of red for contrast. Or These are the minis I have in mind. | |

| Looking good. Your painting skills are tremendous, but Like Deaf said, I would go with a different color scheme. Make them personable, your 'own' if you will, but I like her so far, cant wait to see the others! | |

| I really like those models that Deafnala posted, I felt the GW sisters where a bit dull except for Big Bertha. | |

| The only caveat in using non-GW minis for one of their games, like Mordheim, is that they will not be usable in a GW sanctioned tournament. As a tounament HATER, this does not effect moi. AND I must admit the GW Sisters have a lot of character, plus the way you, Trulsa, are painting them ROCKS. I just think the Reaper are somewhat slinkier/sexier, more the way I picture a female. | |

| I don't even think that we have any GW-sanctioned tournaments in Sweden I have never heard of any So that won't be a problem ever for our sake | |

| Other than Blood Bowl, there don't seem to be any sponsored events for Specialist Games. So if local tourneys don't prohibit non-GW minis, it REALLY opens things up for the inclusion of some VERY cool stuff. Here's another Reaper mini I'm prepared to kill for: | |

| I think you've done a really nice job on painting that Sister - you've got an accurate painting style which is one of the hardest things to master. Once you paint a few more, the whole warband will look great I'm sure. The overall look of them will help to pull the warband together. I'm keen on the colour scheme too but then I'm a fan of the classic colours. I think GW paint their models the same way car manufacturers make TV ads. You put the nicest looking colours on public display to make people buy them | |

| I have had little time to do anything last week but yesterday I sat down and painted my 2 matriarch figures. This is the result: I have 2 different color schemes on them, I don't really know which one is the better. What is you opinions? One is more classical and one is still pretty classical but not really if you see what I mean. I have also ordered a couple of new models that I thought that I should have for my sisters warband: | |

| Personaly I like the right one the best, because it makes a better contrast with the collours. The last model you posted is great! are you going to use it as a youngblood? (or novice or something? don't now how its called) | |

| Yeah, I've got a fair bit of Reaper (mostly used for DnD). I just love how they can pump out a dozen new minis a month, and there's (almost) always a model that will suit your vision (as I've not tried my hand at greenstuff or any heavy converting yet). | |

| They ARE both VERY NICELY painted minis. I rather like the one on the right a bit more than the Lady on the left; the salt & pepper hair suggests a more mature Sister which fits the Matriach persona somewhat bettter, & there is a greater contrast in color choice. WELL DONE & KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! | |

| yes they are reaper models. I think that the dark sister has more difference between the colors IRL, but just a little bit. I am satisfied with different things on both. the light ones hammer is better for example. The dark ones white details are better than the light ones. And the grey hair is better I think even if blonde more often stays blonde even when you are old. Blonde hair goes white I think when you go old, black or brown hair go grey... For a start | |

| Look better than the older works - it means you make progress! I like the red and flesh paitning. And the blue is also nice. Next thing you could make better are the metal parts (you could wash them with black or brown wash/paint). | |

| Thanx I think they improve to, I still haven't redone my first sister and it is a big difference between them. Especially Flesh and Red is improved since I weren't good at that at all before But I can still improve... The metal is really hard. I start with boltgun metal, put on a black wash, highlight with boltgun metal and finish of with mithril silver. But I might have overdone it. If you look at my matriarchs I have played a little more with washes on them, one was washed with thin purple ink and then a little highlighted. The other with watered down brown ink and highlighted with boltgun. But it doesn't show that good in the pictures strange enough... The left matriarchs hammer is in a purple tone IRL. The blue and red regular sisters weapon looks really bad though now when you say so... I might have forgot to wash it down at all Some times I do forget some details and later I discover that I forgot them... And white is always hard, just like black. Either it looks grey or there are no shadows at all. It is really difficult to make a really nice looking white. | |

| WOW! Quite a subtle, but noticeable difference; the new Sisters look even better than the first Ladies. Your choice of color has a dramatic effect, AND I think you did a slendid job on the metal work. WELL DONE! | |

| Hihi, that is so easy to say, much harder to master I am doing that (mixing my own grey since I don't have any grey colors in my possession) But it is still hard | |

What i do which seems to be effective (look at my crusaders in this topic or in the miniatures section) First i have a black undercoat, after that a rough coat of bleached bone, then a white coat. worth a try | |
