Can you shoot through your own units?

Can you shoot through your own units? If an enemy is in cover behind one of your own models, can u hit your own warrior?

In WHFB Skaven are allowed to fire at enemy troops that are engaged in hand to hand combat with friendly troops; the rule permitting this is called "Life Is Cheap", which should give you some indication as to the effect of firing through you own troops.

I think you can shoot at enemy warriors in cover behind your own units, but if you miss by 1, the cover (ie. you warrior).

Ok, but whatabout if you have a line of warriors with a single warrior behind the line, can that warrior shoot at the enemy through your own models?

i think they need to either have

A- a clear los with no friendly models in between

or

B- see atleast a certain% of the enemy.

No. You must have LOS. Bases block LOS.

The only exception is a Large Targer (Troll, Ogre and etc).

Your own models block the LoS.

We play by the rule that you can shoot at an enemy that is partially behind a friendly model, but you hit your friend on a miss by 1.

e.g. If you shoot at a partially covered enemy and need a 5+, but you roll only 4, the arrow will hit the cover... in this case, your friend.
