Skaven! Ratmen by Unwanted

So, some of you may have seen my WIP of a single Skaven.

He is now done, and I'll be posting him and any future additions here.

COOL RAT! The paint job is TERRIFIC, but it's the sense of motion achieved by the positioning that REALLY make it an outstanding mini. VERY WELL DONE!

So, with the prospect of a new Skaven book for WHFB coming out, a great bargain on a Warlord-figure, and my Girlfriend giving me a Poisoned Wind Globadier, I whacked this out:







It's not for Mordheim, it's not even for gaming, it's just to show my girlfriend that I appreciate the Mini, even if it wasn't part of my plans

That's a pretty damn nice Skaven. I particularly like the slimey water and the "marble" like poison bowl (or whatever they're called).

THAT IS a GREAT piece! A FINE choice of colors AND WELL executed. The glass effect in the goggle lenses & the swirling misty feel of the Poison Wind Globe ARE perfectly done. The base only makes the mini that much better; it IS a BEAUTY even considering it's a WONERFULLY done gross, disgusting sewer base. It gives the impression that, when thrown, the Poison Wind Globe MIGHT actually improve the air quality . VERY IMPRESSIVELY DONE!

The poisonous floor is what completed the model for me. GREAT attention to detail!

That are some coollooking skaven you've got there! Most is already said, but I love the pose of the first one, really danemic. You should make a whole warband with running, jumping and attacking skaven And base them all on bases like your windglobadier!

Made them myself.

And yes, I'm working on a warband, and Sewer bases are a possibility.
