How did you hear about Tom's Boring Mordheim Forum?

I saw this forum mentioned in the Terragenesis - Forum "Links" section. This forum is permanently listed there with quite a few good revues.

Ive heard from border town burning in our gaming group but also about the board.
So i checked BTB first and looked into the board, and then it was the board a friend mentioned so iam not quite sure

I just voted for BTB.

Google:ed Mordheim for little advice of how Marienburgers fared in Mordheim, tactics for them (still havent found any good) and saw this site poping up all the time.. So started to sneak around and see if it was an active forum.. And was very pleased to see that it was!

I just love all the possibilities Mordheim have to offer and very happy to see that people still plays it!

after a long absence of mordheim (campaign died out one year ago) I was again looking for the specialist-games forum only to find the majority of the old posts to be gone...

So I was looking for an additional forum via google and found this one very soon. I'm very glad I did

Gogling to find the mordheim rules, this was near the top, Don't know why such a terrible forum would be so high up, but oh well, it was, and here I am =)

I was directed here by spetswalshe over on warseer after they read my Mordheim painting log.

I found a video of Tom's gamingboard on youtube. I had been looking for a serious Mordheim community for some time when I stumbled over it.

Hi I googled mordheim scenery and got linked to all the wonderful threads in the scenery and terrain section. Great stuff

Searched for mordheim...this came up first...I have never left since, except to travel to links that someone else recommends. This is a great site for a game that should still be supported...and I guess it is and lives on through this site.

I heard about this forum during a /tg/ Mordheim thread. It was suggested as a good place to find house rules you liked and perhaps meet other people interested in the hobby.

For any that don't know - /tg/ is the Traditional Games board on the infamous website 4chan. For what it's worth; as far as 4chan goes - /tg/ is certainly the cream of the crop, although that's not necessarily saying much.

The board is highly active although takes a fair while getting used to and finding what you want is almost always luck of the draw. There are long periods where nothing good gets posted, other times it's a veritable gold mine.

I have been lurking off and on here for years but didnt really join because honestly I just didnt have time for the hobby. Now that I am getting more time, money and room, I have decided to join up and start networking on all things Mordheim!

Was actually looking for terrain / wargames scenery stuff and your community seems to be one of the most creative on the subject!

I probably wont be very active myself but i wanted to make a couple of posts ^^

I chose the 'Personal recommendation' option, though it came out more like an order

After hearing of nothing but this forum for days, I finished the background story for my warband, and my fiancé asked me to post it here, so he could link to it (there are a few crossover relations).

But I have a camera, a warband in progress, and much to learn, so this won't be the last you'll hear of me

When we (a freind, Shelena and i) decided to start playing mordheim (again) and start up our own campaign it seemed like a good idear to track and see what of my former reasorce pages where still up and running. So "Tom's Boring Mordheim Blog" has my vote

Where Did I Hear About The Place
DeafNala recommended this place on ReaperMinis' Forums. I have also seen it (like TG veteran SuperScenic) in the Links Section at the old TerraGenesis site.

WarGames I've played or am interested in other than Mordheim are: Warlord & CAV (Reaper); VSF; HoTT; Sky Galleons of Mars (SGoM); Chainmail (Gygax|TSR); Warhammer Fantasy; Naval Wargames: Naval ACW (Ironclads) & Dystopian Wars (Spartan Games).

Terrain
I also enjoy building terrain. And to any TerraGenesis vets out there, TG is in a rebuild/relaunch process. There is a new incarnation of the site only just up and running...

When I was introduced to Mordheim my first thought was: ok how can I play Chaos? Searching got me to Border town Burning and, then Here.

Kind of an "other" i found the forum years ago when I stumbled on BoreasNL's "My own Little Corner of Mordheim" topic when I was first getting into using Hirst Arts moulds and then I just tucked it away in the back of my mind until now when I'm getting back into Mordheim
