I've got a few of those guys. I bought them for various purposes. The Dwarf Thunderlord may get me doing a Dwarf warband for Mordheim even though I hate them. The Elf Noble was for WHQuest or a Mordheim Ranger. The Dark Elf Noble is a Hero in my WiP Dark Elf Army.

Great figures. Definitely worth buying even if only for display.

Shame you can't use there sculpts in Golden Demon comps.

Those are some beautiful minis - I've drooling over them for awhile now. Downloaded the game a little while back, though I've yet to get a chance to try it out.

I've had a chance to paint a couple of their minis on commission. They ARE VERY, VERY NICE pieces. This one is my current favorite:


I'm NOT 100% sure what it is, but it sure IS a NASTY PIECE OF WORK!

Looks to be an extremely demonic rendering of Cerberus (the 3 headed dog that guarded Hades in Greco-Roman mythology)

It's pretty awesome, would make a good addition to a pack of chaos warhounds maybe representing a leader or just two of them!

I was thinking of it as a possible Daemonic Steed for a TRULY NASTY character.
The cool thing about AoW &, for that matter, Game Zone, is they produce minis that SO nicely fit the feel of Mordheim/WarHammer that I sometime wonder how they've escaped the tender mercies of GW IP Police.

CatFerret, I'm not sure how fare you are with your WIP Dark Elves, but if you are looking for other nice proxy models... check out gamezone's Dark elf cold ones "predators" or the furies... they're awesome, and bound to be included in my armies!

Thanks for the suggestion but I'll be sticking with the GW plastic Cold Ones.

The new GW cold ones are really amazing, the old ones look so goofy compared to them.

A couple of their sculptors do work for GW, they have some sort of deal worked out, I think. You'd be surprised how many of GWs veteran sculptors have their own little side companies an' shit.
