Tortiou's very first building

Bonjour!

After a loooooong long time, and some hard work (you can see the WIP pics here), I finally finished my first building, right on time for the Big Meetup

btw the minis you see on the pics are Erkwin's Reiklanders, and the Mighty Hand of Darkness of Chaos (of Hell) spawning out of the etherworld is Erkwin's hand

That was WELL WORTH the WAIT! I LOVE the way this turned out: the colors are perfect, the railing, & the tree are perfect acents to an incredible model. JUST AN EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT PIECE OF WORK! I'm mildly impressed AND to think I had the gall to offer advice [ ].

Is it true Tom chained you to your work bench & ran off to Dusseldorf with the key?

That works with Hazel Nut Coffee also. The keyboard may smelll funny, but now my sinuses are clear.

That's a GREAT piece! Would you mind sharing some information about how you went about painting the walls and wood on that thing? I hope to achieve the same result when I start making buildings

OOPS! I forgot to mention [imminent senility rears its ugly head AGAIN] the dead leaf effect looks GREAT. I had picked up a pack of leaf scatter from Hudson & Allen that I have been meaning to try out. I hope it turns out as nicely as yours. If not, IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! Excuses are a modeler's BEST FRIEND.
