| I'm impressed by the quality of your scenery of course, but a lot more by the quality of your pictures. The light is PERFECT, simply perfect - and every picture is taken from an angle where you can't see the "outside world" (like your room or your bed etc.) As WBK said, the third picture is AMAZING! it gives you the impression of a quiet evening when the sun is going down... Well done mate! moi je dis chapeau!! | |

| Thanks for posting these. They are great. very well done.
Haha, Reverse Shutters. That's a great Idea.
Question: did you have a reason for using a green base/ground? Is that just the board you had?
Thanks Again. Great Ideas here.

| Very impressive my friend! How did you do the algae suspension on the "well"? Did you just mix some flock with the varnish? Anyway, fantastic looking scenery. Oh yeah, Ash brought up a good point: why all the grass? _________________ | |

| Thanks guys, sorry for leaving you all hangin. The leaves are indeed from Antenociti's Workshop, an awesome shop. Ashton: yeah we basically just had the board for warhammer quest. We used to do outside areas, so that you had to find the dungeon first. We've always enjoyed making and painting stuff more than the actual games (I think we've only played mordheim twice, and they were just to get a feel for the rules) and we already had a load of scenery for this table, so it seemed silly to start again for Mordheim. Tom: haha, the algae is completely unintentional. I basically just painted the inside of the well, a dark brown with greeny bits, and then poured in the epoxy resin. I think the algae effect is just bubbles in the resin. It was a happy accident

That makes good sense I really like your buildings. Let us know if you make any more.

| Very very nice!! I have only 1 critic however, and this concerns playability: if you look at the first and second pictures, you'll see that the base of your building is preventing a model to stick against the wall. I think that during a game you'll be forced to put your model a little bit further from the wall, thus keeping the mini from taking cover (because if you put the model on the base, I think it will tumble down)... The base on the door side of the building (with some sand on it), on the other hand, is perfect - your minis will be able to stand on it. Great work on the wooden planks as well! | |

| That is nice! the goat head adds a ton of character for such a simple detail.
Does the top floor lift off for placing models below?

| I see the windows are metal bits. Would you be so kind to spill the origin of them (manufacturer/shop)? | |

| Hahahaa thanks Kurgan. Sadly Antenociti's doesn't seem to be stocking any scenic miniatures at the moment but I'm pretty sure this is just a temporary thing. There's a preview for some new barrels and crates if you like that sort of thing. http://blog.barrule.com/blog/_archives/2008/4/4/3619087.html#post_comment - Quote :

Pathfinder Dubstyles: man I wish it did, I really wanna try that with a building. I'm gonna cover up most of the stairs though with debris, so I don't lose my minis down there. Tortiou: Yeah I see what you mean. I tried to make the bases as small as possible to allow buildings to butt up next to each other, but it's gonna make playing around em a bit awkward. We haven't actually played on any of this mordheim terrain yet, so please make yourself heard if you see any other possible gameplay issues

From the looks of it, there is only one entrance into this building, and that is up that one wall that is destroyed. Thus, you'll probably find that there is no reason anyone would ever want to enter into that building. I try to give all my Mordheim Buildings at least two entrances/exits, one of which you could run up as opposed to climb. It gives more reason for people to enter it. just some thoughts.

| I have another question. It is very noticeable in the picture with the close up of your mercenary with sword and shield how rough the texture is on the wood planks. This looks great and looks totally natural. I have some craft sticks and they are too smooth as is the balsa wood i bought. Did you distress the wood and what kind of wood is it? | |
