Bogenhafen & Ravenswood

Steady progress is being made on my Empire terrain, using Bogenhafen as my main setting. I've completed a number of buildings and a vineyard so far (I may post them leter) and am working on the Docks at the moment.

There is also a slummier, ruined part of the city in the works which is the result of a recent greenskin invasion. This is the "Morhiemy" section of the city, though sadly lacking in warpstone, there are still mysteries to uncover.

THE DOCKS: (WIP shots)

OH BABY!!!...so much for a dignified response . That is JUST INCREDIBLY LOVELY...you've probably heard this before. The cut away view of the sewer & the access to the basement areas are a FINE bit of modelling & planning. The buildings are BEAUTIFUL, but mostly I LOVE the Crocodile from HELL!. REMARKABLE WORK!

Tom, your Tavern is frikkin rad, and serves as some of my inspiration for the next wave of buildings I'll be adding down the road. It would certainly be right at home in Bogenhafen / Ravenswood!

Cianty, I am still getting the hang of blogging. Do you recommend changing the comment setting? If so, why, and are there crazy people who leave psycho comments on miniatures blogs???

I was hired to make a kung fu tea house for kung fu figures.
The teahouse in CCHD was sooooooo awesome and served as the perfect reference. I looked around for pics of tea houses, but none were even 1/2 as cool as that one, so I rolled with it.

Nice buildings! I love the extra details. I especially like how the GW bits dont look out of place in your buildings.

Glad u like the snow forest; I saw ALOT of snow for the 12 or so years I lived in Central NY (Ithaca). So I appreciate the sentiment, I'm a CA boy so not a big fan of winter either.

Here are some more wip shots of the docks as they progress. The addition of a mini mitre saw to my tool set has really been a huge asset for these projects!!!!!!



In the spirit of Morheim, I am also working on some ruins and ruined dock sections too, but no pics of those yet. ASAP!!

Love your work! But now you've gone and posted ships. They look Playmobil like to me. Are they? Which model/kit/whatever its called?

Yeah, the playmobil ships are quick and easy to convert to Warhammer with little tinkering. That comes after the docks are done though. I got 'em on ebay at about $25 USD on average. If you want to fill up a harbor, that is a good way to go.
