Tom's Pink Orcs & Goblins (and Squigs!)

Tom's Orcs are getting fame all over the place. That vid should include the url to his blog or this forum.

Yeah I made that warband.

But technically they are not mine anymore, but my girlfriend's.
It was a birthday present I gave her meant as a joke and also as a little thank you to her for being so patient with me when I stay behind my desk for hours, painting warbands for others.

I'm really surprised they are becoming so famous

Awesome! I read through the comments... It's really nice to see that people appreciate the warband for what it is: a joke! (On the WH Forum I was surprised to see that some were actually appalled by it, because they didn't get that it was a humoristic warband...).

I LOVE these guys/gals/whatever. I first saw them at Matakishi's Tea House with the dancing/sining video. They're the main reason I wound up haunting this forum. AND whenever I need a bit of cheering up I seek them out.

A very well done, highly imaginative, VERY FUNNY piece of work, & see Tom, it really is all your fault.

The squigs could have done with some bows, lol. Seriously, that was hilarious and was a good video to get me finished up with work here to begin 5 days of vacation! THANKS TOM!

Your warband MIGHT help inspire my GF into mordheim

I (like many tabletop gamers) is trying to get her to paint.. but she thinks most models are "scary" and so i showed her these just to point out that ANYTHING goes

And it might have tipped the balance in my favour cheers man

The pink orc warband (which was a pretty big amount of work for a present meant as a joke, by the way ) bought me 2 games with my gfriend... that's it. Then she declared I had her eternal gratitude and that this was a great present but that she would never play again.

I'll tell ya, the work/payoff ratio is A LITTLE off ballance But the gratitude bit is nice. Plus, the pinkies are now in my showcase, next to my other models. The contrast to my darker paintjobs looks pretty cool to be honest

Also, you have to bear in mind that these Orcs were one of the reasons so many people found your blog and the forum! So, while they might served the initial intend only a little, they had some great side effect
