| EDIT: changed topic title So for the last while I have been painting up random models for Warhammer Quest and I have just finished this model which I will be using as the chaos warrior. IMO he's one of my better paint jobs I would think. If you want me to post my other WHQ models and future WHQ models here too lemme know c&c always welcome -Foot

| Having never seen Warhammer Quesst played, I'm TOTALLY clueless as to what's involved...other than a good old Dungeon crawl. HOWEVER, if it entails painting up GREAT minis to the EXTRAORDINARY LEVEL you've achieved, I'm all for it. | |

| from boardgamegeek : http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeksearch.php?action=search&objecttype=boardgame&q=warhammer+quest Warhammer Quest is a role-playing game that does not require a Dungeon Master. It's best with four players, but you can even play it solitaire. The tile-based dungeon is created based on cards drawn from a dungeon deck. Monster occurrence is generated by a roll of the dice based on the type of tile you are on. Monster type is generated from cards. This game comes with a lot of plastic miniatures and high quality components including plastic doorways and glossy dungeon tiles. An adventure book adds a dozen scenarios and an advanced role-playing book is included for the hardcore Dungeon Master. Four Heroes are included in the basic game, with additional ones available for purchase separately. Came in contact with the mini world for the first time with Heroquest. I was quickly hooked and later purchased advanced heroquest, warhammer quest en finally mordheim. Never played wargames other than risk. (Warhammer and the like just seem to much dice rolling and too little progress going to slow for me ...) WHQ en Mordheim are swell games though. | |

| @Boreas_NL wow those a really nice, would work great for WHRP, not too sure about WHQ tho @DeafNala Cheers man yup its pretty much a good ol dungeon crawler. @pascal the rascal thanks for the info! Heroquest was the first GW game i ever played, still play it now days sometimes. Right long time no post been busy with other things so there hasent been much time for model type of stuff. But now i have decided that this is my main project! for the last week i have been making some tiles on and off so here are some WIP pics this was my test piece, made them slightly larger so i can fit bigger monsters on the tiles more easy. my group normally uses the stairs as the entrance so i decided to give it a snazzy looking door(have added to it since i took these pics). also thought i would take a pic of a mock up game with some warriors and monsters on the tiles also you may see that its on 2inch foam stuff, mainly did that so i can make some of the rooms 3d like the fighting pit and fire chasm , can also see the 3d-ness on the stairs. C&C always welcome as normal -Foot | |

| Looking choice so far, Foot! This is actually making me interested in playing WHQ, never played it, but it sure looks awesome! Little question though, are the bricks you used for the entrance from Hirst Art Molds? Keep it up, ya dirty Kiwi! | |

| It is Hirts arts alright. I recognize it! Good stuff. Love the idea about going 3d. However would it not have been good enough with half that height? | |

| Cheers man No pics of the monsters yet sorry, just using most the original ones atm, till after i have done all the tiles then i can get stuck into all the minis properly. For the minotaurs, i was ganna use the AOW one like you said, waiting for it to be released so i can do an order, also will be using the Mordheim one and theres another one on heresy miniatures that i kinda want to get Right so i have done some more tiles! Heres the pics PassagewaysT-Junctions and the Corner Dungeon Cell and Guard Room Gotta add some chain to the Cell and wait till its painted to add the hay like stuff. Portcullis and Falling Block markers The portcullis is kinda basic but it works and im too lazy to make a plasticard one Thats all for now, still got 4 more rooms to go and the objective rooms for the tiles, might also do the collapsed passage and acouple of other WD/expansion tiles too. also gotta make some Spiked Pit makers. Also got a little sneak peak of more paint on the Ex-Blood Bowl player/ Mighty Zug Really happy with how the skin has come out on him Also i have got a game tomorrow of Warhammer Quest so i may take some "action" pictures too. C&C always welcome as normal. -Foot | |
