Hi

One of the players of my campaing is using a beastmen warband.

He asked me if on the Heroes’ serious injuries chart on the 61 result: captured if beastmen could be treated as possesed:

The Possessed may sacrifice the prisoner. The leader of the warband will gain +1 Experience if they do so.

Or maybe just some other warbands:

Captives may be sold to slavers at a price of D6x5 gc.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I repeat my reply from the Yahoo group: Smile

I'd most definately treat the Beastmen as Posessed here. Not only do they follow the same gods (kind of) but also having Beastmen "sell the captive to slavers", that's just ridiculous. Of course you could argument like slavers here are other beastmen who give the warband items worth the gold crowns bla bla. I think treating them like Possessed is the intuitive way to go here.

Yeah, as long as their shaman use the same spell list i'd say it's the same gods/rituals they're using Smile

Sorry for diverting a bit from the original question, but what about Carnival of Chaos ( I have recently had the situation apply to our CoC player and house-ruled that they may apply the same rule as Possessed)? I was wondering if it also made sense fluffwise, since I don't know much about WH fluff.

Yep, my group plays CoC similar to possessed in exploration, etc. Although the means of their sacrifice would certainly vary, the end result would be much the same.
