Ugliest Miniature ever!

Who can find the ugliest Games workshop miniature ever?
(miniatures released before 1990 do not count!). I mean "ugly" in terms of the miniature itself and not the paintjob.

I'll make a start.

I can't believe they were able to sell that piece of junk!

First, I think GW did a lot of great figures before 1990, at least some of those which I could see on some of cianty's links.

(I know there were some nice minis before 1990, but there were also unspeakable horrors )

Actually, the Fenryll models look a lot better in reality than on the pics in the web. I saw them at SpieleMesseEssen, and most of the models look really great.
I think about buying the minis simply to convince Tortiou

They where released after 1990 or not?

I'd go with this one over the Dark Eldar. Mainly because this one is meant to be a centrepiece.

Notice a pattern? GW just seem to have a massive problem with producing female models, they nearly all seem to end up looking really dumpy and just wrong. The death cult assassins are good however.

Once you get by all the clutter, AND the weird hat, all you're left with on this mini (Privateer Press) is one seriously UGLY child.

I don't think they are that bad when it comes to female models. The Wood Elves are great, and the Witch Elves are not bad either. However, I think they could produce some more females, Bretonnian Peasant Bowwomen and such..

I tend to agree with you, just look at the old damsels, they're positively beautiful.

As for ugly models, nothing tops the old Captain Cortez. So ugly that the mini is purged from all Google image-searches! (You try and find it!)

The GW females that Chris Fitzpatrick did before he left the company to do his thing with the WarGods are excellent minis, but most GW females could cause gag reactions in Vultures & Hyenas.
