So while searching for a retailer for the Hudson & Allen Studio leaf litter, I came across an article posted on Reaper Miniatures. http://www.reapermini.com/TheCraft/24
So I set out to find a Birch Tree. I must say that I am quite impressed with the results. Maybe a little bit time consuming, but no so bad as to turn me of from it. But on the plus side I can harvest as many leaves as I want and they are free!!
Anyways thought I would share.
p.s.
Now that I think about it ..this post might have been better in the Painting and Modeling section

Thanks for a VERY useful post. That's a cool idea AND there ARE quite a few Birch trees around here. Actually there are a myriad of natural thingys that can be used in making bits of terrain. It's just a manner of looking at things in a different manner. My friend Steve used to go on day long expeditions in search of usable flora & fauna [of the deceased variety]. His wife used to refer to this as "he's out grazing".
