I was wondering who was Rags... at first I thought it was the mushroom next to Rowdy (assuming he is the big fellow) but then I noticed the little guy on his neck!

Yep, that's Rags. It's hard to tell in the photos, but he is lounging up there with one arm draped across the mace.

SO today I started painting the background for the First Faces on the Wall piece, AND I did two more Faces for the next piece:


It was therapeutic...sort of.

Really characterful faces Deafnala! Can't wait to see what you're going to do with them!

I know you don't look at the pieces you create from a commercial point of view but those heads are just crying out to be cast.

Simple latex open top mould and pour & scrape ironstone plaster (Hirst Arts type non toxic casting) and you would have great success with limited runs on Etsy as art piece blanks as well as from hobbyists like those of us here.

They are absolutely wonderful pieces, I get great enjoyment and entertainment from all your work but these actually make me regret not having your talent or artistic vision.

I use a material similar to this:

Very easy and clean to use. I make 6mm scenery (shacks, shanties etc) for my WW2 and Modern wargames from home made moulds.  Cast off a few copies of the master then remelt the material and use it to make a new mould for something else.
These buildings are home cast in plaster:

The wall of faces is Sweet indeed! How big is it? Will it be attached to one of your building?

I am thinking of doing a photo stage with a background of Faces.

Despite all the chaos whirling around my head, I have another new Mushroom ready to base.
The first photo showed up some dental problems that I corrected for the other pics:
