Floedebolle´s new gaming board

Hej guys, just began to finally work on those 4 pieces of my new game board. Had the lying around the last year. They were done already build up to the final gesso layer of ground base, with rough forms of the comming buildings, allley´s and so on. I started on one of those 4 pieces two weeks ago, with the remarkable product from staedtler called fimAIR light. I allready used this stuff on a sample wall that i have posted a time ago.
This stuff is great, good to shape, non-toxic, dry´s by air-just perfect. The only thing that you must keep in mind is it´s shrinkage, but one can use this for his benefits, as you soon will see for your self.

I started taking pictures of the doors i made ou of balsawood and greenstuff yesterday night while working on the estalian guy mentioned in the other thread. It´s so easy making your own doors with balsa, just great!
Here the come, first without priming.Later tonight i will post the first pics of the terrain module # 1 .

That is an EXCELLENT start...the detailing even in this early stage is quite remarkable. Keep on keeping on!

Hola mordheimer´s, update time!
this time i made something that had been on my mind for almost half a year, its for the second terrain boardpart out of 4, its a culty thing, a dark deity from one of those scary cult´s spread throegh the dark ruins. its going to be inside an old barn or factory building near the docks, in the far end of a big buiding, lit only by some small lights feeding on human fat to burn.

And here it comes, with one of the most great modells ever made by citadel!

VERY, VERY COOL & CREEPY! The Gene Stealer Patriarch looks rather happy in his new surroundings. An EXCELLENT, WONDERFULLY CLUTTERED PIECE...this is going to be a gem when completed!

thanks deafnala, and wait for more, i want to make his surroundings to be a bit inspired by the good old chthulu mythos, human´s beeing sacrificed on altairs in front of this statue, and all other creepy things, well, just give me more time, !

It's an old 40K model called a "Genestealer Patriarch". There was a scenario out of the Mordheimer website that incorporated some of those vicious beasties into a battle. When we played, I managed to kill one with my best hero, but not before it killed 2 of my henchmen and took another hero out of action. We HAD to play a continuation game the next week because my OoA hero ended up rolling "Captured". Needless to say, we had to put him out of his misery, but I managed to recover his gear at least!

As spectre said, its an old 40k mini, and one of the best too, as are the whole bunch of the genestealer cult.
I actually thought about to build a possessed warband consisting only of those genestealer hybrids and magi, they would look great, maybe one day, with more time AND money, ´cause those guys a really expensive to get!

Hola amigos, yesterday, between drying times in my atelier i was able to build the first buidings for the first gamingtile. I will build it up as a whole, then , little by little i will destroy it en gros, to get the best realistic way of comet destruction damage. Well, here are the first impressions:

It's LOOKIN' GOOD! The buildings have a nice height & lots of interesting angles. I usually do them whole & then add the damage also...great minds & all that. Keep up the FINE WORK!

COOL! While the buildings have different levels, that's the first hill I've seen for Mordheim. I love the way you do your broken stone streets & your wood flooring is GREAT. Keep up the TERRIFIC WORK!
