So, You've already seen them here and there, scattered around in my scenery, but here are some close ups of my Infinity warband, the Haqqislam.

I've already got 5 or so games under my belt and up until now I like it...
A lot.

The system of hitting is cool, and you always stay involved in the action, even in your opponents' turn.
The basic rules are quite simple to grasp. And then there's a ton of special rules/equipments. Luckily those are automatically added to and printed out in their army builder (which is, just like all of their rules, even the latest, available for free on their website)

I’ve got around about 300 points now, good for a rather large size of a game

My Ghazi Muttawi’ah (granted, Corvus Belli really does go out of it’s way to name your troops in ways you cannot possibly pronounce correctly, let alone remember LOL)

I agree about the pronunciation factor. That does seem to the only drawback with the Infinity miniatures. They are BEAUTIFUL pieces & certainly look WONDERFUL in full color...GREAT brushwork & basing. VERY WELL DONE!   thumbsup

Thanks!

The bases are home-made, but I took a simpeler approach this time around...
Some of my former projects I spent more time building each base than I spent painting the fig that went on it drunken

The grey asphalt areas is simply the bare base; the Bleached Bone sidewalks are made with GWS-unit boxes' cardboard, glossy side down, cut out with scissors and glued in place with PVA.

The metal bits are just random leftover pieces of plasticard, 40K-vehicle-bits and plastic wire (like for headphones)
The rocky rubble are pebbles (found on the street), with smaller pebbles (like in the GWS basing bags with sand mixed with pebbles) in between, and a greenstuff filling in the gaps.

In any case, thanks for the compliment of not being able to see whether they're homemade or bought... I must be doing something right Wink

Nice work! Love scratchbuilt stuff! I often find myself staring at the ground whilst walking outside, because you'll never know when you find something interresting:)
