(this was partially inspired by the BTB pics LOL)

apologize for the fuzzy pics...I'll try and re-shoot with a better camera another time but wanted to share anyway

so I had an old GW cart I painted up forever ago
Gypsy Wagon Dsc0110

and a horse
Gypsy Wagon Dsc0210

so I made custom base from wood
Gypsy Wagon Dsc0310

then made a wood addition (a smaller version of that shown in movie "stardust")
Gypsy Wagon Dsc0410

Gypsy Wagon Dsc0510

Gypsy Wagon Dsc0610

Gypsy Wagon Dsc0810

comments and questions welcome Smile

Your Vardo is a CHARMING little creation, AND suitably colorful. VERY WELL DONE!   thumbsup

Nice wagon. thumbsup thumbsup

I was going to comment on how low the yoke(?) was, but then I saw an pic of West Wind's Gypsy Wagon and their yoke is nearly the same height. Suspect Adding a suspension would raise the yoke and provided a smoother ride. (Of course, if I remember that cart right, the axles are cast to the body of the cart...)

('Cart right', nudge, nudge.)

Great looking wagon. I like how you made the base for the horse removable so you can use the horse elsewhere.

It is just like Toad's...which explains why "We're merrily, merrily, merrily on our way to nowhere in particular" is playing through my head...GREAT book & movie!
