It's not much of an update, but I figured I may as well post something while The Camera is still with us. This is the face on the upper story door; she's was inspired by The Junk Lady from Labyrinth:

Funny you should mention it, but as I was carving the stonework into the tower somewhere in the back of my mind I could hear Grace Slick wailing out White Rabbit...I think it was some kind of mushroom that did it. Jevenkah over on L.A.F. thought of the Face on the Upstairs Door; as soon as I had the mouth done, the Junk Lady popped into my head.   clown

Thanks, theomar! I just finished carving the stonework, & primed the tower. I'm pretty happy with the results myself...it definitely is creepy. I've just started the top section; it, hopefully, will raise the creepiness level a few notches.   affraid clown

Some small progress on Rapunzel's Twisted Tower has been made & photographed for your entertainment & edification...or something like that. SO without further delay or warning:

The Tower will most likely be based as a side street off The Urban Blight, hence the photo of it by one of the other Blight Buildings...it gives you an idea of its height also.

I would never build something like this, but its fun to watch others. thumbsup thumbsup

My criticism would be that it is much to linear. More precarious projecting additions and balconies! And some buttresses that fly. clown

I made the nest out of sisal rope I picked up for reeds/tall grass...I'm using the rope for Rapunzel's braid also. Now I'm thinking of converting a Crocodile Games Ibis head mini for a Stork Man...one thing does lead to another.   clown

Sleepy Hollow or Brothers Grimm, it does have that kind of feel to it. I finished painting the Spooks in the Windows. Although they look more garishly, ghastly green in actuality, here is roughly what they look like now:
