| Silver, I tried to make some better pictures of the scroll writings in daylight as you asked, but my camera just isn't suited for these kind of close-ups. I'm sorry. I do, however, have some pictures of my doggies. To further enhance my chaos-like look of my warband, I decided i'd convert the plastic chaos wardogs and make them into captured hellhounds (Hellbrecht's Hellehunden). I really don't like the dog models Games Workshop made and looking at other people's Witch Hunter warbands, it seems that nobody likes them as everybody is using alternative models. These models were a bit of choir to make and to paint. There're great rules-wise, but I'm glad there done and I do some work on terrain, my hireling ogre (a conversion based on Bragg the gutsman) and a troll slayer. And this is my third witch hunter, Dieter Stahlkopf, a mysterious close combat assissin wearing an iron mask over his face. Thanks for watching! BigD | |

| EXCELLENT STUFF! The War Dogs, Handler, &, especially, the latest Witch Hunter, The man In The Iron Mask, are BEAUTIFULLY modeled & painted. The sinister character of the War Band shines through on these creations. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Agree with Nala here. The assassin with the mask has a very sinister look to him, with lots of character from all of your warband models. | |

| Great Work! I love your choice of miniatures and the subtle conversion you make.
On another note, the taking of pictures of our miniatures is another wonderful and self-fulfilling aspect of our hobby. For some, miniature photography is actually an inevitable evolution and extension of our hobby considering that we spent so much time and effort in painting our collections, we naturally want to place them in their proper context and share them with individuals who could appreciate and critique them.
Accordingly, you may want to use a camera with a Macro option. This would enable you to take better close-ups of your miniature without sacrificing the small details thereby letting everybody appreciate your work better and be inspired by them. As a bonus, you also expose your work to the constructive comments and criticisms of others, thereby growing as a hobbyist.
Also, If your camera has a manual setting, you may want to consider the following settings:
1. No higher setting than ISO 100 (less noise); 2. Longer exposure time in order to let more light in. You may also want to consider more light sources inasmuch as your pictures appear to be somewhat dark; 3. You may also want to try a tripod and use your camera's timer to provide more stability and avoid blurred and shaky images.
I am no photography expert but I have consulted with those who are, so I hope this helps and keep up the great work! | |

| Thanks for the compliments Dreng Tromm, but thank you especially for your extensive photographing advice. I know a camera with macro works better, but unfortunately, I don't have a camera with this option. I'll see if I can try your other pieces of advice.

| After a loooong time, an update again. I modified my witch hunter captain a bit. I gave him a grey beard and gave him magnetized arms. I'm a slow painter, so I decided to create models which can be used more than one warband or can have weapon swaps. The captain also has a shield with magnet on his back. A Bosch-esque big head on legs is Always useful in a city like Mordheim. More will follow. Thanks for looking. D | |

| It REALLY has been awhile...better late than never! The Captain with pistol or scroll, with or without the shield is a BEAUTIFUL creation. AND the Walking Head is an INSPIRED piece that is SO Mordheim. VERY WELL DONE! | |

| Great idea with the walking head! The captain looks suitably grim - wearing earlier success on a trophy rack like that is sure to insprire dread in the warlocks! | |

| Hi there, I'm back with a small update. Here are 2 of the hired swords my witch hunters employ. A merchant with his bodyguard This model I use as a halfling cook. In Dutch (my native language), a cresent is called a half moon, so this is my half-moon-ling. Thanks for looking. D | |

| After quite some time, it's update time again. I redid my witch hunters for the 3th time. Here's a picture of my captain (minor differences, only a new beard color and pistol) and the warrior priest (new weapon and some scrolls added on his cloak). The 3 witch hunters, one redone (the one with the iron mask) and 2 new ones. My 5 warhounds (made less chaos-y and gave them a sligthly darker color) A set of 4 flagellants and (in the middle) a new flagellant hero And finally a new hired sword, to fit in with the witch hunter warband; an ogre executioner That's it for now. Let's see if the next update will be a bit quicker that this one. ;-) Thanks for looking. BigD | |
