I messaged Werekin about it a few days ago. Apparently it will never be completed. Sad. Some of the material is available on his website though.

The basic jest of it was that the MiM just became too large for Werekin to complete by himself. You could message him about it if you want - I don't want to copy/paste what he may have intended to be a private message.

Dear Marienburgers.

I have not been doing any work on the campaign for a while now. Following a period of prosperity which has allowed me to enjoy the hobby on frequent occasions I hit some relationship problems. I played a lot of board games during this time instead of gaming with my miniatures.

Although the Bournemouth Mordheimers managed to showcase Marienburg at two public events back in March (all my terrain was packed ready to go!) of this year and last August, there has not been any opportunities for me to get other campaign games in as I had to sacrifice my games room (as I have a new flatmate to help me pay rent!) to have a second bedroom.

I intend to return to the hobby when the time is right. In the meantime I've conjured up a medium-weight worker placement board game, inspired by Black Sails, Marienburg adventures, commodity trading and speculation. This involved creating a 8000 word document for the rules package. Those of you who follow my Instagram will see pictures of that project.

I may also be returning to work on some new music with members of my band The Skinny Skulls. This I hope to be a cathartic experience which may ultimately stir my inspiration to dine in Mordheim.

My painting table is still set up so I can return to wet my brush whenever the mood takes me.

The last thing we'd started working on was a chapter of ship building rules to customise barges & boats for the basis of promoting games played on water using ships.

There are holes in the Marienburg plots so I'm pleased to hear that some members of the community have prepared a contingency for following those incomplete narratives. The extended version of my "Infamous Haunts" player aid featuring 'Daemon swamp' & 'Undertown' were options that came about as an afterthought for feral warbands. This came about based on certain players finding no real purpose to get themselves involved in the post battle sequence.

I'm always lurking somewhere near the canals, so if you need an answer get in touch with me here or by email or facebook messenger, then I always look forward to hearing from likeminded fans of the game we all love.

Regards,

Stu

Thanks for the material that you've provided us, Stu. It is a shame to see the project go on hold but hopefully the lure will pull you back at some point in the future. In the meantime though I hope that you find enjoyment in your other pursuits. Smile

That's it... I'm sad.

The best fanmade material ever produced was Border town burning and Mutiny in Marienburg was made by the same people...

We will never see it... sigh...

I do understand however that the ''producer'' have no more time to invest in a so huge project and I'm grateful for what have been accomplished. I would participate in a resurrection but I'm not a native english speaker and my skills in my second language are too ''broken'' to be of any use.

Now I go cry in my bed .. sob..

Hang in there, Werekin. We're so grateful for the work you already put in.
Long projects are hard to keep going at full steam, especially when they are done only on our spare time.
Take your time and chill. We'll be here.

It's all good, better to know it's on hold than thrown in the bin because you *really* got fed up with it Smile. I got hope: there is a lot to do and explore with Mordheim in the meantime.
And the promotion events you have already done may have stirred up more excitement that only the future will show, and we may see the game get a big resurgence. Nothing makes a project look more official than those events Very Happy

Let us know if we can help with anything regarding Mutiny.

Cheers!

If it's ever a question of editing, presentation or proofing, more than happy to help out! My group has played and replayed BtB so many times, and we're already planning another campaign. Perhaps one of the best made and developed campaigns for Mordheim in existence!

My work can be found here if you want to check it out.

I've had years of experience with InDesign and Photoshop, and spent plenty of time working as a graphic designer. If you or the community ever did pick this up again, I'd love to lend my hand there!
