PC Game ?

Greetings,

Suppose a kind of simple warbands PC game could be made.
Would there be any interest to join or to help?
Suppose....
What do You think about it ?

Welcome to the forums, post in the new member thread and introduce yourself. I assume you mean a PC game like mordheim? I have no coding skill of any use. But I would be willing to help with other things as my time and ability allows.

From a simplicity perspective I would suggest making it a grid based game, even if that is not fully Mordheim authentic.

Also if Mordheim is the goal I would recommend starting with basic core warbands only. Maybe even just start with 2-4 lists. Skaven, Witch Hunters, Possessed, Undead would be my recommendation. Or swap out undead for one of the merc lists.

That would be fantastic. I remember a game on the ps3 called chronicles of valcharia or some such that had a turn based play (and you selected your ( upgradable ) team for each mission ) that I thought would transate quite nicely into Mordheim.
I don't have the skills to help with that sort of project unfortunatly.

If I knew how to program and make 3d models I'd be making a Mordheim mod for Mount and Blade Warband.

Now, ben_danger and a friend are working on a AOW mod turning it in
a kind of Warhammer and Mordheim game.
Lets see what comes out.

And about the terrain, what would you suggest, 30 x 30 grids ?

Age of Wonders?!? I miss that game! Should find my disc and reinstall! If only I didn't have League of Legends, 3 xbox games and, Mirror's Edge and Deus Ex:HR all to play right now...

I would think a fairly large grid would be in order. Assuming you use 1" squares and want to represent a 4' x 4' table you would need a 48 x 48 square grid. Or you may prefer a hex based grid.
