Gormril Armor Question

Greetings,

So, I am in the middle of a campaign. Am I able to recruit a Beardling with Gormril armor for my Dwarf warband at this point, or can I only give someone Gormril at the start of play?

Let's say my starting warband includes a Clansmen with Gormril armor. Can I add to his group later on? How exactly does it work?

Edit - Nevermind! I answered my own question with the Errata. Missed it the first time through.

Just in case this comes up with someone doing a search in the future, the answer is "Gromril counts as heavy armour for the purposes of equiping".

Actually, my original question was more along the lines of -

Can I bring in a new Beardling in Gromril Armor after the first game? To which the answer is "no, no you cannot"

You can of course acquire a suit through the regular means and give it to a Beardling (right?).

It's the same with any rare equipment that a model is allowed to buy at warband creation (unless that particular item is classed as common for that warband, like mad cap mushrooms for Goblins), for example marksmen and Hochland Long Rifles (right?).

Correct. I could get one with a roll, but I can't get one on a new recruit. Which totally makes sense.

Indeed. Aside from the whole fluff aspect, if prevents people starting with lots of members at the beginning, then buying new members later on simply to acquire good gear for the rest and then firing them.
